Exactly. He should seek out American workers FIRST, unless those foreigners are staunch Conservatives.

The fact that you aren’t loaded down with education debt puts you at an advantage over many college graduates.

Psychology is the 3rd most awarded college degree (127,000+ annually).

26.7 percent

The percentage of recent graduates with bachelor’s degrees in psychology who work in jobs “closely related” to their major, according to an APA Center for Workforce Studies analysis of 2013 data from the National Science Foundation’s National Survey of College Graduates.

$49,000

The median annual salary for workers ages 25 to 59 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, according to a 2015 analysis from the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. That is $12,000 less than the median annual salary for workers with a bachelor’s degree in any field, which is $61,000.

https://www.apa.org/monitor/2016/02/numbers#:~:text=26.7%20percent,National%20Survey%20of%20College%20Graduates.

Whoever is talking these people into majoring in Psychology is doing them a grave disservice.

Here it the money quote, literally:

But the young progressives and Antifa schemers have been trained to not see how their futures are being drained. Instead of learning economics and history, they were programmed in schools and colleges to focus on identity groups, on race, and on sexism — and to never follow the money.

Not only do they have useless degrees, they have a huge sense of entitlement. I would rather hire a hardworking, ambitious foreigner than an American socialist who thinks all whites are racist.

I want to slam you as being anti-American, or some kind of H1B lobbyist, but I am having a hard time refuting what you say. You’re right.

In part. Yes, there are American grads with degrees in puppetry and heads crammed with socialist nonsense - but there are plenty with STEM degrees who let the nonsense go in one ear and out the other. And let's not pretend that every Indian diploma mill is providing meaningful education.

Good students and workers can find a job with pretty much any degree. The tricky part is that Big Ed is now big business and they are taking in mediocre students with what a generation ago was a 7th grade education—at the most.

They get passed along to graduation and a lot of jobs in their targeted field really aren’t a fit for those with a glorified 7th grade education.

Good boss. He probably landed on his feet after the company went under as well.

Boca Raton is not easily fucked with. And my son and his partner are CCA and trained. Our two protest marches were small, contained and peaceful.

He’s a trucker. Probably unemployed for at least ten minutes. My son had a challenge. He’s only 20. Per DOT rules, he has to be 21 to cross state lines so he needs a local haul job.

He runs flatbeds which requires more diligence because the driver is responsible as loadmaster and securing the load.

I think he’s doing a straight truck right now. They ordered him a new semi tractor but it’s not in yet.

Your story speaks well for him and your son.

Character is still of eternal and employment value.
