Mayor Frey Asks Trump for Help After Minneapolis Rioters Cause Millions in Damage (wants federal aid)
Breitbart ^ | June 06 2020 | AMY FURR

Mayor Jacob Frey (D) is seeking federal aid to help Minneapolis recover from the protests and riots that have wrecked the area.

“With at least $55 million in estimated damage and far more to come, Minneapolis will need state and federal aid as it attempts to rebuild hundreds of structures after the riots following George Floyd’s death,” Frey explained on Thursday, according to the Star Tribune.

The report continued:

City officials are still putting together a complete tally of the destruction and cautioned that estimates are likely to rise significantly. Gov. Tim Walz and members of Minnesota’s congressional delegation are trying to get government assistance to offset that cost. But in the past, neither the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) nor Congress has consistently sent federal funding to cities ravaged by riots.

Wait until rioters/arsonists and the protesters who cheered them on, learn businesses will not be coming back because
most Insurance Companies don’t cover businesses in riots.

I think you are on to something here. Combine this with some tax incentive requirements. Get a local board for input so they feel like they are part of the process. There are some decisions that can safely go either way. Let the locals weigh in on those.

Start a private rebuild fund celebrities can throw money at and partner with existing charities to disburse those funds.

Get anything cleaned up rebuilt and reopened by October and this becomes part of the campaign.

Pay for the heads.

NOT going to be in favor of supporting any of them-—not even on a chain gang.

10 years ago the I-3 bridge crossing the Mississippi River in Minneapolis collapsed.
The state used federal monies given to the state for roadway repairs and gave the money to social crap instead.
Now the stoopids in Minnesota want to do away with police?
Is everybody up there nuts?

Use the money you save on firing all the police.....Oh that’s right that money goes into a “special” fund.

The riot damage Baltimore City suffered in 2015:

With more than 300 murders annually over five consecutive years, some say Baltimore hasn’t become better, but worse.

In all, $49 million was owed before the smoke cleared and we found millions more paid since then. Taxpayer dollars were tapped to reform, repair and rebuild a better Baltimore.
Five years later, what we found was not a better Baltimore but a broken one.

“Look there’s still drugs around here. There’s still crime around here. Nothing good came out of Freddie Gray. The same situation that led to the Freddie Gray incident still exists in this community.”

This is no different than taking a knee. Taxpayers paying for looting and burning a city where the mayor stood by a let it happen is outrageous.

Nope, let them live in the squalor they created. Maybe those rich Hollywood buddies can chip in.

Don’t give the government one cent BUT send people to the owners of those businesses who were destroyed and help them personally. Do NOT let the state and local government get involved. Them kept you out, you keep them out.

Frankly I have no concern if it doesn’t get rebuilt. Better that businesses re-locate and open elsewhere.

Trump should have Frey and any other dem begging to be bailed out the messes they’ve made, come to Washington, and kneel before him like whipped dogs. All these dems have been more than willing to kneel to the Black Lies Matter and Antifa mobs, so kneeling is nothing new to them.

Build the Wall - Around the blighted areas - and lock the violent bastards and bastardettes inside. Drop in some stale crackers and peanut butter or cheese every couple days.

Libs shouldn’t mind that. Cause walls don’t work, y’know.
