Tru dat. Militant far Leftists know what's coming, and will be locked and loaded. They aren't in the majority, though. The rank-and-file Lefties are still into the brick and Molotov cocktail assault mindset in the urban areas. They could potentially outnumber us locally if they had enough brains to plan that far ahead and laid siege to a farm town, but we conservative, God-fearing hillbillies and rednecks have been plinking and varmint hunting since we were wearing diapers, settling scores like men (and women, tip 'o the horns), performing military service, working to keep the roof over our heads and food on our tables without waiting for a government benefactor to drop it down our chimneys, and generally still living like a Norman Rockwell portrait come to life. Yeah, I remember the Beltway Snipers. I used to stop at that gas station on Aspen Hill Rd. (BP? Hess?) that I had a credit card with to fuel up. It was only a few years after I relocated to NoVA and then AL that that shooting took place, and it gave me goosebumps. And lit a pilot light of anger in me. It never occured to me that anyone so evil and so bereft of civility could have that much intelligence to plan out and execute something like that.

My Uncle Kenny had three daughters, and you were the one he never had. LOL The youngest was a tomboy my age, though, and we used to go down to the camp on the Capon River sometimes and fish off the dock. We’d fill the well in front of the cottage with bluegill and he’d clean them for my aunt to batter and fry for dinner. It was my granddad’s camp, and he inherited it when he passed. He finally sold it after the river flooded so many times, it was like a spring ritual to remodel it downstairs. Pity - I wish I’d have inherited his speed boat, but he sold it off, too.

Oh. This is going to be over with by the Fourth. We’re mainly dealing here with a bunch of kids locked at home for three months and deciding to become “activists” since there are apparently riots going on somewhere nearby. They pretty much want to impress their girlfriends with their muy macho style, but the girls aren’t likely to be captivated. They’ll be back in the basement playing video games pretty soon, and telling their friends stories about how “intense” everything was when they took on the cops and stuff.
