the entire Emergency Response Team at the Buffalo Police Department has resigned in a show of solidarity for the cops suspended for shoving an elderly man to the ground.
A total of about 57 officers walked off the job Friday, though they are still employed with the police department -- just no longer on the ERT ... according to WIVB reporter Dave Greber.
The move comes less than 24 hours after video surfaced showing cops in heavy gear shoving 75-year-old Martin Gugino even though he was NOT being physically confrontational. A rep for Buffalo PD allegedly told a lcoal reporter the man was injured when he "tripped and fell," but the video shows that's clearly not the case.
Gugino started bleeding from his head and lay motionless immediately after his head hit the pavement.
The Buffalo Police Commissioner took swift action in announcing the 2 officers involved were suspended without pay. The Mayor of Buffalo said he was deeply disturbed over the incident, adding the elderly man is in serious but stable condition.

You may want to explore inland. Lots of lake living in Polk, Hillsborough and Pasco. Stay north even to the panhandle

By all means take their resignations. Oh wait it was a white guy.
If they dont stop this systemic racism whites are gonna have a real protest. Not this riot crap either. And a lot less peaceful.
I am sick of all these spitwads trying to start a civil war. But it’s getting close.
If you don’t have sense at 75, probably ain’t happening.
The police were moving forward and he ultimately tried to
walk backwards in front of them. A shove sent stumbling
backwards and to the ground.

The protester who was pushed to the ground by Buffalo police Thursday night in front of City Hall, in a video seen by more than 58 million people, is a longtime peace activist from Amherst.
Martin Gugino, 75, was in serious but stable condition at Erie County Medical Center as of Thursday night, according to police.
“Hes a gentle person who really believes that he must stand up for what he thinks is right,” said his friend Terrence Bisson, who has worked with Gugino on Latin American issues through the Western New York Peace Center.
My suggestion would be the Tampa area. South of the city. Referred to as South Bay. Tampa is the least hurricane-prone area in Florida. The area hasn’t had a hurricane in nearly 100 years.
But, there are no sandy beaches in this area. You’ll have to drive about 45 minutes to get to sandy beaches. There is plenty of ocean nearby but, it’s an anomalous area for Florida in that there are no sandy beaches in the immediate vicinity.
This specific area has many active and retired military living in the area due to the presence MacDill AFB. I fall into the latter category. Also, the towns in this area are not within the City of Tampa. They are unincorporated and are policed by the county Sheriffs. Not politically elected Police Chiefs.
What does he think is right?
A quick search pulls up a Twitter acct and a blog. Not sure if it’s this guy or not..
I have a long time to go before reaching his longevity. 99.99& of police are good people. This world has gone off the rails. This man is an idiot.
Many times, nature and nature's God decide punishment.
Mostly, Leftists are not protesting against men, or policies.
They are protesting against reality.
In this case, reality won.
“old, frail, unarmed, and means no harm....”
I’m almost as old as that tall, wiry, possibly armed, and aggressive guy.
That 75 year-old man fell down on purpose. He looks to be pretty healthy and in shape. No way did he fall from such a slight nudge. Look at how he bends his one knee to cushion his “fall” and then immediately brings his feet together, crosses them after he “falls”. No flailing arms; nothing.
He was under no distress after he falls. Didn’t even try to hold his head after he “fell”.
He wasn’t injured other than he didn’t remember to tuck his head
The guy wasn’t tumbling. He went to the ground on his own accord in an attempt to make it look bad.
Critical but stable is what I heard
Bleeding from ear concerns me, but I am not a medical person
Who’s going to stop the criminals in Buffalo now? lol
Why would a 75 yo feeble man be out and about in a protest known for violence?
