I always liked Mattis. Even served under him in a combat zone.

And then he went public with a spat with the president, while in command and in uniform, on fervently disagreeing with Trump on pulling out of Syria and Afghanistan.

I was like – if any other officer did that, he/she would have been removed in a heart beat. And sent home with a GOMAR.

I knew he had lost it.

And then he went on the board of the fake blood testing company and inferred they had military contracts.

Fight, not exactly. Construct complicated and dysfunctional command structures, over-complicate every issue and develop more massive bureaucratic entities to ‘manage’ the issue. Let a relative handful of combat arms people bear the incredible burdens of multiple tours in savage lands entangled in pointless legalisms embodied in so called ‘rules of engagement’.

Oh please. Mattis was a 4 star Marine General not too long ago and so was Kelly. They are both ate up POS who did their best to shiv the ELECTED PRESIDENT. IIRC, one of Mattis’ first acts as Secretary of Defense was to virtue signal by countermanding the no trannies in the military EO signed by POTUS. I am not very impressed with the sense of duty or the loyalty to the nation either man displayed. I wonder how many of their acolytes are in power positions in the USMC? I would guess a lot of them and they are all probably as hostile to POTUS as those two.
