The mainstream media are often far from a trustworthy guardian of the public's well-being. The Yellow Press published in 1898 the largely discredited proposition that Spain sabotaged and sank the USS Maine, an accusation that incited the Spanish-American War. Recent events show that fake news, not from "Russian troll farms," but rather from domestic media sources and also the Democratic Party's nominee for president, is being used to influence the 2020 presidential election. Here is a list of the misrepresentations, if not flat-out lies, that the media and the Democratic Party's nominee have told about Donald Trump during the past two months.

From everything we have seen in the video of George Floyd's death, what happened to him was flat-out wrong. A police officer who (allegedly until proven guilty) abuses his authority in this manner could do the same thing to any one of us while putting other police at professional risk (the ones with Derek Chauvin were fired and now face criminal charges) or even physical risk and cannot be tolerated by any civilized society. Nor can any civilized society tolerate the equally monstrous evils that are now being perpetrated in George Floyd's name.

I know I’m looking at this through my conservative eyes, but even with their different opinion on politics (putting it mildly), I don’t know how Dem politicians and media sleep at night. I guess so many of them have absolutely no conscience. They have to know what they are doing is very wrong.

They exhibit the behaviors of sociopaths. People who are manipulators for their own benefit and power. People who can pretend to have feelings, but don't; again when it benefits them.
I really didn’t think that the media could keep the anti-Trump crap going full steam ahead for 4 years, but they have. Now, I’m surprised that some of them just haven’t stroked out yet over it. Maybe when Trump wins in a landslide we can see some of them clutch their chests and collapse live on TV.

The media lied about the Russia collusion hoax, about the Mueller probe, about impeachment, about the coronavirus—and Brett Kavanaugh and former national security adviser Mike Flynn. They lied about Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president and the impeachment farce that ensued...and now they’re lying about the riots.
The most important part of the story is always that Trump is behaving badly—that he’s lying, misleading, undermining democratic norms, tweeting mean things, whatever....... Nothing, not even nationwide riots, are more important than pushing that narrative.

Bravo on this writer for mentioning Joe Biden’s blood libel of Curtis Dunn. If anything undermines the Working Class Joe myth, it’s Biden’s monstrous lie that Dunn, the truck driver involved in the crash that killed Biden’s first wife and daughter, drank his lunch instead of eating it. In keeping with the tone of the article, the same fake news media have been complicit in Biden’s lie.

The democrat controlled media dilberately miss portrayed Floyd as an innocent black who was being forceably restrained because he was black. He was arrested for passing a counterfeit $20 dollar bill .When actually he was resisting arrest and was a threat if not secured by not mentioning his size or reporting that Floyd was removed from a squad car because he was acting up under the influence of drugs and also later was discovered to have COVID 19. Which suggests his physical condition may have led to his death which the media turned into a murder change and a charge of serious abuse by police because of police efforts that were tried to get him who under control Check out

The results of politically induced miss reporting used earlier during and after the post Zimmmerman trial. Led to black gangs attacking non blacks found innocently traversing black neighborhoods and to a score of murders or life changing injuries and later attacks of theft and vandalism on local businesses as well as attacks and murders of police officers during that period
