Amazon has hired 200,000 people over the past three months for net new PERMANENT jobs.
For starters...
So it is a shifting economy.
. Those who predicted end of times drop in the market with years of misery...lamenting.
Those who sold off all their holdings, lost 30 %, and did not get back in at the bottom of the square root shaped recovery,..lamenting.
There are still those who wish ill on employees and the regular working stiff, only so they themselves will be proven RIGHT!!! Damnit!...they are lamenting even as we read.
Covid is keeping a lot of people home, and they are ordering stuff on line. Amazon is busy now, and probably figures this behavior will continue well into the future. Check on delivery services, they probably need help. One man I know is waiting for action on a contact tracing job for Covid victims.
