Gun-toting members of the Boogaloo movement are showing up at protests
CNN-LOL ^ | 4 June 2020 | Robert Kuznia, Drew Griffin and Curt Devine

Posted on 06/04/2020 5:14:04 AM PDT by Magnatron

Benjamin Ryan Teeter was at his home in Hampstead, N.C., when the call to action came. It was an alert from the heart of the raging protests in Minneapolis, posted on an online forum by a fellow member of the Boogaloo movement, a loosely knit group of heavily armed, anti-government extremists.

The "alert" was from a man who had a run-in with the Minneapolis police while on the frontline of the police-brutality protests set off by the death of George Floyd. "He caught mace to the face," said Teeter, and "put out a national notice to our network."

After Teeter -- who goes by Ryan -- said he saw the online posting, he and a handful of other Boogaloo friends in the area mobilized. They grabbed their guns -- mostly assault rifles -- hopped into their vehicles, and made the 18-hour trek to Minneapolis.

The Boogaloos are an emerging incarnation of extremism that seems to defy easy categorization. They are yet another confounding factor in the ongoing effort among local, state and federal officials to puzzle out the political sympathies of the agitators showing up to the mostly peaceful George Floyd rallies who have destroyed property, looted businesses, or -- in the case of the Boogaloos who descended on Minneapolis -- walked around the streets with assault rifles.

Boogaloo members appear to hold conflicting ideological views with some identifying as anarchists and others rejecting formal titles. Some pockets of the group have espoused white supremacy while others reject it. But they have at least two things in common: an affinity for toting around guns in public and a "boogaloo" rallying cry, which is commonly viewed as code for another US civil war.

Haha never been on 4chan. We used to use electic boogaloo for all things part 2 when I was younger. I remember lmao when I first heard it in reference to CWII. I thought my friends and I were the only ones that remembered such an obscure movie reference.

If you’re going to list psycho-Democrats, don’t forget the San Francisco guy who would reliably bus in his cult followers for protests and other events when requested by Willie Brown, Harvey Milk, Jerry Brown, Diane Feinstein and other leading California Democrats. Though he did not have nationwide name recognition, even VP Walter Mondale sought his blessing. The cult leader’s political affiliation with the Democrats was well known when he remained in California, but he really became quite infamous later on. The inventor of Democrat Kool Aid (which was really Flavor Aide), his name was Jim Jones.

No, I heard “Boogaloo Boys” term being pushed by both a far left guest commentator on MSLSD and by someone on Faux News.

This is deliberate.

I have no idea whether this “Boogaloo” movement exists, what it stands for, or how many (or how few) adhere to it. But I am 100% sure CNN will sell a false narrative about it no matter what. Other than “toting guns”, CNN can’t seem to iterate anything these people have actually done, while their ostensible Antifa opponents have rioted, murdered, burned, and looted nationwide.

It’s a media / Deep State caricature of patriot militia. The term Boogaloo was invented as a joke, gallows humor about a 2nd civil war.

IIRC, the term was also adopted in order to confound social media censorship of CWII comments. That's why there are other derivatives ("big igloo", etc.) - staying ahead of the censorship algorithm.

I agree, though, that the media has begun using it as a patriot caricature. In that sense, it's an outgrowth of the 4chan/Pepe stuff.

Interesting. Thanks for the information/clarification. It should have never come to this point if our overlords were doing their jobs.

17 intel agencies, PDs & SDs & Detectives downstream. Surveillance capability up the wazoo and drone capability on your woohoo, etc.,etc. MONEY WELL-SPENT, EH?

95-100% of these anarchist pawns (we have the ability to shut down their comms, seal them in their particular riot area) should be in jail or prison along with their kings & queens EVERY EVENT. INCARCERATE. ELIMINATE as needed. Life, liberty and WTF?

PART of the SOLUTION, OR PART of the PROBLEM?

“led to believe”... So you are drinking the cool aid?

Is it wrong to resist the Antifa led overthrow of our government for a communist one?

The purpose of showing up to the protests while open carrying is to discourage opportunistic criminality. An armed society is a polite society.

There is no such thing as a “Boogaloo Boy”. It’s a stupid slander. Its like you are looking for a list of violent acts committed by “buttholes” or “jerks”.

If this dies out (no pun intended...it just happened), what’s the next fitna in the globalist’s totalitarian playbook?

Rules for Radicals? No “Rules for Changing a Limited RepublicanGovernment into an Unlimited Hereditary One.”

10. “Divide and govern”...
6. But the grand nostrum will be a public debt...
11. As soon as sufficient progress in the intended change shall have been made, and the public mind duly prepared according to the rules already laid down, itwill be proper to venture on another and a bolder step toward a removal of theconstitutional landmarks...

It really just sounds like another bunch of anarchist wannabees who actually had enough money to buy guns.

When viewed through the warped prism of CNN, perhaps.
