Scary is what it is.

He knows better. He does not care.

The President put up with Mattress far too long as well.

It is not about yes men it is about knowing how to behave.

Wonder why he didn’t explain his definition of last resort?
And what force would he employ if his neighborhood & businesses was threatened?
Damn hypocrite.

Who ever was in command that allowed that should be dishonorably discharged. It’s as bad as our NAVY sailors bowing and crying in Iranian custody.

I had a choice between Bloomberg, which we can’t do, and CNN which we can. Fox is slow these days. Dunno why

When SECDEF abdicated his responsibility he needs to be fired immediately.
Not holding my breath.

I am going to be consistent.

Take this photo and those like it and have PDJT proclaim LOUD & CLEAR that he is glad to see that the troops/cops/firemen etc and demonstrators had time to say a prayer for the nation.

As to being consistent, I had ‘suggested’ the same tack be taken with the NFL players who publicly took/take a knee.

Yell loud enough that they are praying and the ACLU and LIBS and Lawyers will gripe about it and demand it stop as ‘praying’ in public is not legal ..... Of course using their ‘standards(or lack of)’ looting and busting windows in the name of ‘peaceful demonstration’ is perfectly fine.

That is the key point. Esper could and should have limited himself in public to saying that the decision was up to the President and that he would act in a sound manner. Then Esper could have given his advice in private.

I wish I could find some sort of humor and irony in what you said, but the only emotions I feel are disgust and revulsion, not to you, I appreciate your post, but my eyes have filled with bile.

I’ve had it with this crap and these people.

Yes, we are. It doesn’t seem like there is any way to stop it either.

Jesus, where are You?

The inability to consistently find and recruit experienced and loyal people is Trump’s greatest weakness and could be his downfall.

His reticence to quickly act against insubordination is his second weakness. He does not need yes men but he does not need freewheeling freelancers who publicly criticize him. He has plenty of outsiders who do that all the time. No leader or manager needs this. Most people are smart enough to know that. Apparently not much anymore.

I would say a tad of humor, a dab of irony, a smidgeon of absurdity and a whole lot of sarcasm.

The point being, if ‘WE’ accuse them of praying, all the buttheads (INCLUDING the kneelers), and all the PC BullSchiff would be embarrassed to be ‘accused’ of praying in public.

Had a peaceful demonstration on Sunday and a Reverend showed up and (had to??) said he was there to support his daughter who had helped ‘organize’ it.

I pointed out that the 3 PM ‘gathering’ on the Courthouse steps, observed and ‘managed’ by local LEO was ‘acceptable’ for 200 +/- demonstrators in a small space was ‘fine’ but had the same preacher had the audacity to pull such a ‘stunt’ - on any of the 5 churches in short walking distance, using THEIR steps and blocking the street, bet those same LEO ‘referees’ would have put a stop to it post haste.

And they wonder why I scoff at these cowardly SOBs...

We have an edict to wear masks in public and hold gatherings to about 10 and maintain the 6’ ‘rule’ but the CS Governor is so wishywashy and such a coward he foisted the ‘enforcement’ of masks on the Health Department and ‘ordered’ people to wear masks in businesses UNLESS they had a condition.
Then he said that the store owner etal could NOT question what the condition is/was....So, in my devious mind I am calling it a bluff as the Health Dept can hold your license over the stores head while - if you deny me entrance because I have a condition, I will threaten to sue under the ADA...

Screw em.....

Then they let these animals ran rampant in businesses they are looting. AT least charge them for being inside a business with NO MASK.....<: <: <:

I think that’s true. Trump has consistently hired people whose first thought seems to be how they can use their job as a platform for publicly undermining or opposing him. If they have an objection, fine. Tell him and discuss it. But don’t run immediately to announce it to the press.

And when it happens, Trump has got to act more speedily to remove these people. He looks very weak and uncertain, and I think this only leads to more disrespect.

I have actually been wondering if the reason he has not nationalized the Guard is because he’s afraid his orders wouldn’t be followed. Terrifying thought.

I said when he was elected his biggest problem would be the vast & irreconcilable differences between private business & government.
I know in his business dealings he’s dealt with politicians & government agencies but President is a whole other animal!
He can no longer bark commands & his corporate staff carry it out.

Have to agree. Having grown up in a civil service family and gone to work in the corporate world the protections in the latter are nonexistent compared to civil service. In one you can get by with noncompliance in the other just forget about it. Retribution can be swift, final and painful. Career limiting at the least we would say. Some parts of the military can be similar. UCMJ has not been kinder and friendly. In corpocracy there is not code to speak of.
