There used to be very strict regulations in military training.. its what made our military the best. Discipline is an absolute must in training.
Then it became softer.. things were given a pass here and there.. what had been brutal trzining.. became more tolerable..
Now, its nicer to be comfortable.. but comfort does not a war win.
When in a foxhole with a buddy, you hope that buddy is loyal to the enth degree. Your life will depend on it.

The Romans used to have a process with their troops when they displayed cowardice called “decimation”. Really harsh and I wouldn’t recommend it, but it shows how seriously things like this used to be taken. Even then, it was used for punishing soldiers who fled during battle. If you sided with the enemy during battle, well....
Participating in political protest while in uniform is a violation of military law. They can be brought up on charges.
Amazing that the Swedish police are doing anything at all. Also amazing is the there's so much nappy hair in Sweden.
