Rapper Trina criticized after protest, looting comments: ‘Keep … these animals off the street’
“They need to make the curfew at 6 p.m.,” Trina, 45, said on her 99 Jamz morning radio program. “Keep everybody off the street – these animals off the streets – that are running around in Miami-Dade County acting like they have escaped from a zoo. Lock them up at 5 p.m. so the streets can be nice and clean, that’s how I feel.”

We’ve had a curfew in nearby Louisville KY the past few nights but like the line in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie when they talk about the Pirate Code “it’s more like guidelines” Chris Mills, reporter for local news affiliate WDRB, has been doing a FB live feed every night of the protests and each one has gone on till at least midnight (curfew starts at 9pm) We had heavy looting Thurs night but things have quieted down a lot (National Guard got brought in over the weekend. Not sure why tbh. like I said, curfew hasn’t really been enforced for these protesters) They’re walking all over downtown shouting stuff like ‘ No justice No Peace, prosecute the police’ ‘No Justice No Peace, fuck the racist ass police’ ‘I can’t breathe’ ‘Black Lives Matter’ ‘What do we want? Justice! When do we want it? NOW’
