The United States is banning all Chinese flights to and from America as retaliation for China failing to let U.S. carriers freely conduct operations.

President Donald Trump’s administration said seven China-based airlines, including Air China Limited and Xiamen Airlines, will not be able to fly to or from the United States.

An order from the U.S. Department of Transportation said it was “responding to the failure of” China “to permit U.S. carriers to exercise the full extent of their bilateral right to conduct scheduled passenger air services to and from China.”

As a result of that failure, the United States “is suspending the scheduled passenger operations of all Chinese carriers to and from the United States,” Joel Szabat, assistant secretary of aviation and international affairs, wrote in the order.

The order is dated June 3 and goes into effect June 16.

Twelve days after Hunter stepped off Air Force Two accompanying his dad, then-VP Biden on an official tax-paid trip to China
with Hunter's daughter in tow, Hunter's private company signed an historic deal with the Bank of China, the Communist Party-owned

The Bank of China had created a first-of-its-kind investment fund called Bohai Harvest RST (BHR).
According to BHR, one of its founding partners was none other than Hunter's company, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC.

It was unprecedented: the Communist government of America’s fiercest competitor "in business" with the son of
a US elected official----one of America’s most powerful decision-makers, a step away from the presidency of Obama.

Chris Heinz (John Kerry’s stepson) claims neither he nor Rosemont Seneca Partners, the firm he had part ownership of, had any role in Bohai Harvest deal.

Nonetheless, Biden, Archer and the Rosemont name became increasingly involved with China.
Hunter's pal, Archer, became the vice chairman of Bohai Harvest, helping oversee some of the fund’s investments.

Troublingly, some of those investments had major implications for US national security.

TIMELINE---VP Biden, Hunter’s father, met earlier with then-Chinese President Hu Jintao in Washington during the Nuclear Security Summit.

In Dec 2014, BHR became an “anchor investor” in the IPO of China General Nuclear Power Corp. (CGN),
a Communist state-owned energy company involved in the construction of nuclear reactors.

In April 2016, the US DOJ would charge CGN with stealing nuclear secrets from the United States —
actions prosecutors said could cause “significant damage to our national security”....... and the safety and security of the American citizenry.

Of particular interest to CGN were sensitive, American-made components that, according to experts, resembled components used by the US on its nuclear submarines.

China requires all foreigners entering China to be quarantined for 14 days. That means air-crews also. No western airline could agree to a flight crew being locked in a hotel in China for 14 days. Thus, US airlines are unable to make flight schedules into China. Meanwhile, Chinese airlines faced no such restrictions in the USA.

That is the background behind this action.

Hunter is salivating knowing he's about to clinch another lucrative deal on the taxpayers' dime.

Hunter Biden soaked the taxpayers, using govt-sponsored travel to conduct private business, flying on the VP’ s plane, Air Force Two.

Sinless Joe Biden bragged he never discussed Hunter's billion dollar deal on AF Two.

I am not sure if that means only direct flights between those two countries (by any Chinese airline), or whether it means no International flights at all, by any Chinese airline, at any US airport.

I think it means no more Chinese airplanes flying in US airspace, even if it is a flight from/to a third country, with no stop in China.

It might be a straight out trade dispute, where we are defending US carriers that were hurt by Chinese restrictions - reciprocity.

It might also be a security move.

Perhaps Intel suggests that China might have a plan for a nuclear first strike aboard civilian airliners, or an EMP precursor, or some other type of Military/terrorist operation.

Is it just coincidence that we also recently announced that we would pull out of the Open Skies Treaty?

In any case, it does not seem to be tied to disease prevention - it seems economic and/or security related.

Needs to include NOT allowing those taking flights to Canada or Mex then transferring from a chinee airline to one coming into the US.

Period... don’t let them make an end run through our canada and Mex or any other neighbors. Stop IOW all chinese airline ORIGINATING flights/passengers. That would put it to them.
