Imho, Trump needs to unleash the citizenry, not the police and national guard.
They’re not going out to the country. Nothing to steal out there. They will remain in target rich environments like maybe suburban malls, but that’s about it. Domestic hot break-ins will be rare, and not end well for the perps.

Quite possible,however, if group of 100 of these animals comes walking down your street and targets your house, even if you have a ton of ammo could you stop them before they overwhelmed your house with their numbers? could you put out the fires they set and still hold them off? Would your neighbors come out to help defend you?
The farther the rioters get from the inner city, the worse their odds. They know their hoods, but get them out of there they will be on another planet. And people who live out in the country are self reliant, a lot are veterans or grew up learning how to use a rifle.
