I’m sure he would. It would probably be the best resolution. But this high profile a case, I doubt there will be a deal. I hear the protesters calling for 1st degree murder and a death penalty. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the charges upped for political reasons. I doubt MN will overturn their century plus ban on executions, if they did it wouldn’t be retroactive. But shows you how ill informed some of these people are.
Given that one part of the video, shows Mr. Kneecap pulling out and brandishing his can of Mace, at a bystander approaching to help, that might be enough to establish intent...?
