Coronavirus no longer “clinically” exists in Italy, which has seen the deadly disease lose potency, according to a doctor.
New infections and fatalities from COVID-19, the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, fell steadily in the country in May.
“In reality, the virus clinically no longer exists in Italy,” Alberto Zangrillo, the head of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan told RAI television. “The swabs that were performed over the last 10 days showed a viral load in quantitative terms that was absolutely infinitesimal compared to the ones carried out a month or two months ago.”

Hopefully they’re not going to require a 14 day quarantine, which is a deal breaker.

The Italian Codvid is the strain that infected the Northeast so should expect a similar result.
While the media will never admit it or even consider it, in the end it appears that our experts did not know much.
The HCQ regime is clearly the most effective treatment regime for this virus, yet we are still told by our media and “experts” that it is dangerous and ineffective.
Up is down. Right is wrong. Birds and cats must live together!
This kind of wrong can only occur in a society with a complicit media that does not question conventional wisdom. I, like most of us, follow the news closely so in hindsight after the China Flu has passed who is worth listening to?
The clear winner within the media is Tucker Carlson. Love him or hate him, he always questions conventional wisdom and he appears to be the smartest man in media right now. He called this many weeks ago.
Ingraham is a solid runner-up because she had on many doctors who disagreed with the “conventional wisdom” as well. They look pretty smart also.
The rest of the big media? They were wrong and fanned the hysteria and hype that was wrong.
How did you do it? I have one friend that I’m still working on. Steadfast Republican but so scared.
On the other hand, I have a sister that has always listened to me, especially when it came to science since that’s the kind of work I did. She is mostly Democrat but sometimes votes independent. However, most of her family is Democrat. She is super scared. She is sure that if she or anyone she knows gets this, that they will die.
We used to go to the beach together every year for a week long vacation. She told me 2 days ago that she won’t be going this year, and we were talking about an October trip! She says, “who knows how bad this will be by then? We’re already up to 100,000 deaths!” I know she is surrounded by liberals. She is somewhat liberal herself. There’s no talking any sense into her. She has just shut down. That she suffered from depression before all of this exacerbates her reaction now.
To many of us, this all appeared foolish and insane in March. It has only gotten more insane since.
Hey... When’t the last time somebody got the Spanish flu, the Asian flu, the Hong Kong flu or SARS????
Respiratory viruses peter out... It’s always been that way and always will be that way.
I was questioning all of this after the first projections were so obviously wrong and the stark demographic differences became obvious.
However, I was afraid for my parents, in-laws, and our last surviving grandparent who were particularly vulnerable to this based on statistics and health. I am still nervous about them even as this thing is clearly fading.
Within the first few weeks it was pretty clear that politics, media hysteria, and the doom doctors were controlling the nation. Trump was swept up in it as well. I won’t ding Trump for the first month and the initial reaction, but in hindsight I bet even he wishes he had acted sooner to push reopening the country.
A lot of sad Democrats.

I do think it was used, in passing, a few times near the end of the daily briefings. But no one emphasized how slight exposures train the immune system. Instead, they all fixated on proximity=increased viral load=active infection.
I just shake my head at the rioters in their dirty, clogged, moist masks. Doesn’t keep virus, gas/smoke or dust out of their eyes, either.
