Nah - too many other bigger fish to fry in this process and he didn’t cross state lines.
If I were a small business owner who had their livelihood trashed in the aftermath; I’d be at least filing a lawsuit against the parents for restitution. It would get tossed immediately; but his parents would know who I am and what and how much damage resulted from their horrible liberal upbringing they gave him.
My son is 20 years old. He’s a petty officer in the US Navy. Different life choices, I guess.

In the past information like that was of no interest to me. In the last few years with all the twits and twats out there acting up the parents’ political leanings have seemed to make a HUGE impact on the kids and how they view the world, even more than when I was a youngster.
He is white. From Trump to the Democrats to the protesters to the media etc, are all trying to say the only problem is white outsiders. He is from a suburb, he is an “outsider.”

The reality is that Judaism, or at least being Jewish, is now very much divided - largely between those religious Jews of the type who would give their lives defending Israel, and those secular Jews who are wed to a pseudo-intellectual world view that still worships Marx. This mindset led to the involvement of many Russian Jews in the Bolshevik movement. I would refer them to the Torah and the story of the Tower of Babel.
It's not just a story of how the world wound up speaking different languages. It's more an example of how having conceit in what you believe are your own intellectual and creative powers (e.g. 'I can reach God by building a tower') is pure unwarranted hubris. The arrogant self-described 'intellectuals' in our society who think that they have the intellectual power to build heaven on Earth (usually through socialism) are the equivalent of the tower builders of Babel.

Until I see evidence to the contrary, I feel a certain degree of sympathy for the parents.
If we later learn that they were middle-aged leftists — well, it’s no surprise they raised a rotten kid.
But I’ve certainly known plenty of decent folks whose kids turned out bad. Likewise, I’ve known decent folks who had to overcome a terrible upbringing.
Now hit the whole family with a multi million dollar civil suit while they are at it.

That is how John Q Public, namely store owners can sue him, his parents his teachers. If he makes a deal by turning on his organizers and funders he gets a better deal. This is a group of people who violently took and destroyed other peoples livelihoods. In the old days they were low income doing this but Antifada is well off college kids teachers & lawyers, class action suits could net millions, maybe offset some of the tragic losses. Criminal court is run by the government and if it is DNC or Rino they will let them skate.
