Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) issued a joint statement Monday evening condemning President Donald Trump for his statement on the ongoing nationwide violence.
Earlier Monday evening, Trump declared in the Rose Garden at the White House that he would end the riots that had sprung up around the legitimate protests against the death of George Floyd in the custody of Minneapolis police.
He then walked across Lafayette Park, which had been a flashpoint for violent protest for several nights, and had been cleared by tear gas before Trump’s statement. The president, flanked by security and senior officials, walked across the street to St. John’s Church, which had been burned by rioters the night before, and held a Bible aloft before departing.

Nancy and Chuck’s statements are almost always mirror images of the truth. Ergo the translation of their statement is, “Trump is “brave, strong, and protective.”

Don’t Dems usually march alongside their constituents during these “peaceful protests”? I recall seeing pictures in the past of Dem leaders walking with arms locked together with their fellow justice-seekers. Haven’t seen too much of that.
And, oh, Nancy and Chuck? If you are going to put on such a show of bravery and courage, let’s see it happen after the sun goes down. This way we can all get a good look at what true leadership looks like.

After some thought on the subject I’ve decided to change it to the following: Orange man bad, cowardly, weak, dangerous, wicked, mean, evil, and nasty.
I’ve also gone into negotiations with Hanna-Barbera to add “Orange Man Bad, etc.,” as a villain in a resurrection of the Rocky & Bullwinkle show replacing Boris and Natasha. Should that fail I thinking about “Orange Man Bad...” as a replacement for Crabby Appleton on the Tom Terrific Show. I know I’ve got a winner somewhere.

Let me cut out all the red-blue partisan bullshit.
A major political faction in the country is supporting looting, burning, and soon killings to overthrow the legally-elected President and his government. I presume they want Pence out as well.
Unless they are repressed quickly and forcefully, they can prevail either by forcing a resignation or by getting forces within the military to install an opposition government.
Mr. President, I'm very sorry but you cannot what is necessary with your mouth or your Twitter account, you have to do it with the troops you command if they still follow your orders.
It's very sad, but we are going to need proof that they will obey you and kill the looters and disperse the disorderly crowds at your command, and we are going to need that right soon.
Before you know it, maybe today, Pelosi, Schumer, Cuomo, Newsom, amd Team Biden are going to demand your resignation "to restore peace". Obama may or may not join in. By Thursday, mob destruction and violence will crystallize around demanding your resignation instead of justice for whatever his name was (which no one will remember by then).
They want you to give the order to shoot. Right now, provoking you to do that is key to their ambitions.
But if you can't control these "combinations too powerful" which are supported by the governments of States in open rebellion against your authority, you are going to have to start shooting, you will have to test the loyalty of the armed forces, you may have to dissolve the Congress which so openly wants you out and rule by decree - and if this revolution fails and you can figure out how to restore anything resembling normalcy, then my MAGA hat is off to you, sir.

Here is one more reason you should have ordered AG Barr to ARREST and PROSECUTE Schumer for making Criminal Terrorist Threats towards a sitting Supreme Court Justice. It’s Not too late!!!
