Twitter has restricted a Monday tweet from Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), saying it glorifies violence, a move that comes after also cracking down on some of President Trump's tweets last week.
The Florida lawmaker and vocal Trump ally tweeted in response to Trumps Sunday announcement on Twitter that anti-facist activists, or antifa, would be formally designated as a terrorist organization.
Now that we clearly see Antifa as terrorists, can we hunt them down like we do those in the Middle East? Gaetz posted.
Twitter restricted the tweet, preventing it from being liked, replied to or retweeted. Before the social media platforms action, the tweet had been retweeted more than 12,000 times, The Verge reported.
A Twitter spokesperson told The Hill in a statement that the "public interest notice" was placed on the tweet because it was "in violation of our glorification of violence policy," which forbids the threatening of violence against an individual or group.

I know someone who said something similar about Obama. She got an at-home visit by two secret service agents.
Enjoy that.

Oh! And she posted it under a fake name and the agents STILL found her within a couple of days.
Hahaha. Youre in big trouble.
Twitter’s last gasp. THey are in trouble when all this is over. And they know it.
so Sam doesnt post for two years and then comes back to twitter to talk about killing Trump
her pic may look like a teenager but she could be a dangerous nut job. Secret Service should check this one out.
You sound like an optimist. But I certainly hope you are right.
Would Twitter still be in business if President Trump wasn’t on there?
Yet they let comments by people that make suggestions on how to kill the President remain.
She should be on the Joint Target List.
Will someone send Matt a link to Parler?
I just came on to say that!
Tell him to go to Parler and tweet about it. Say his friends Louie Gohmert and Rand Paul are there.
And pretty soon enough of us will be there to make a critical mass. Dan Bongino is there already. He says he keeps twitter mostly because that’s where a lot of his followers are still
We have to come up with a word other than Tweet though
