Hennepin County Medical Examiner Declares George Floyd Death Homicide
FOX 21 ^ | 1 June 2020 | Site Staff

Posted on 06/01/2020 4:19:54 PM PDT by NautiNurse

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – Fox 9 reports that the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s report released Monday ruled the death of George Floyd a homicide.

The updated report states that on May 25, George Floyd experienced a cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by a law enforcement officer(s). Ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is now charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter in connection to Floyd’s death.

Earlier Monday, the attorneys for the family of George Floyd shared the findings of their separate autopsy, which determined that Floyd died of “asphyxia from sustained pressure” on his neck and back.

The new Medical Examiner’s report also notes other significant conditions such as arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease; fentanyl intoxication; and recent methamphetamine use.

Last week, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office released a preliminary report in which it was determined that Floyd likely died from a combination of underlying health conditions, being restrained by police, and any potential intoxicants in his system.

There was reportedly no physical evidence that he died of asphyxia of strangulation.

It’s past time to shut down the rioting, illegitimate adult children, too. Police should use skip shots again.

You must not have very good reading comprehension.

In Minnesota, the county attorney is responsible for pursuing excessive force complaints against the police.
Guess who the county attorney used to be?

Amy Klobuchar, Democrat Party US Senator from MN, and until this blew up, hopeful for VP under Joe Biden.

I don’t care about your own private little short-bus special universe. If you are in police custody, they have responsibility for your life and health.

(Hint: if the guy had been a terrorist in Iraq, our soldiers would have been court-martialed for doing this to him.
If he’d been convicted of raping and killing a kid, killing him like this would be cruel and unusual punishment.
He’d already been duly convicted. And served his sentence. Did the police under whose very body weight he died, know this about him at the time? Or is this the political machine of Dems in Minneapolis trying to cover for yet another killing-by-police,
like the guy who got shot by a cop at a traffic stop in front of his girlfriend and son after telling the cop who pulled him over, he had a lawful concealed carry permit, or the Australian woman shot and killed in her pajamas by a cop firing from inside his own squad car, after she was the one who called 911 for help?)

The now-ex-cop is in jail on $500,000 bond because he did not bother to even try CPR on a man he’d had his neck on for 9 straight minutes; after the guy said he couldn’t breathe, then passed out, then soiled himself, and one of the other cops holding him down said, hey, the guy doesn’t have a pulse.

The element of 3rd degree murder in Minnesota doesn’t require intent. It requires Depraved Indifference.

Mr. Kneecap is on camera — a single 9-minute long shot, uninterrupted, unedited, by a bystander six feet away.
He even brandishes his can of mace at a bystander trying to help the poor guy.

But instead, he kept his knee on the neck of a dying handcuffed man in his custody, instead of giving CPR, even after his fellow COP told him the guy had no pulse.

That’s Depraved Indifference.

Re: “You must not have very good reading comprehension.”

And, you must have limited life experiences.

Every day, dozens of completely healthy Black males in Police custody claim they cannot breath, claim they have claustrophobia, intentionally collapse, intentionally stumble, intentionally feign to be unconscious, etc.

It is a well known lawsuit strategy that is openly discussed and optimized in the Black community.

It is a lawsuit strategy that is aimed directly at people like you, Whiskers.

Before I make up my mind, I am going to read the autopsy report prepared by the Defense and listen to the entire Defense case.

Until then, there is really nothing else to talk about.

Grey_Whiskers, AMEN to your post #204.

That Floyd was no saint is no excuse to kill him. He never posed a lethal threat to anyone. Once he was unconscious the police had a responsibility to perform basic medical care. Instead they kept a knee on his neck for two minutes before checking for a pulse. The police's actions are inexcusable, even if the riots never happened.

The only significant thing I see about this case is that the cop was white, and the criminal was Black. If the cop was Black and the criminal was white, I would not care.

I give you credit for honestly offering your color-coded concern.

I watched a man die with a smug faced cop's knee on his neck; a cop who repeatedly refused pleas for help by the dying man and multiple witnesses.

Your question becomes irrelevant after video proof the cop had his knee on the neck (cutting off blood supply to brain) for 9 minutes and for almost 3 minutes after victim became unresponsive...if the cop(s) had handled it properly, we wouldn’t have this $#!+-storm.

100% true BUT

‘they’ would have found something else to be offended by, if nothing more than a cop running over a dog or something as mundane...

All that ‘fuel’ needed was a spark...

A ‘coincidence’ that pallets of bricks were distributed in some cities? Whether ‘they’ had purchased them earlier or not, it isn’t a coincidence when full pallets of bricks are ‘found’ on street corners in more than ONE city Friday evening.

Cities are going to have to do some quick legislations banning back packs during ‘demonstrations’ and rewrite the wearing of face coverings in such events.

If you aren’t ‘afraid’ of potentially getting shot or run over, a dose of flu shouldn’t be on your worry list.
If it is, maybe you are in the wrong business.

After this weekend, ANYONE who wears a mask because it was suggested by the same officials who allowed mobs to rub elbows and cause mayhem and tell you that you can’t open your gym or restaurant because of a flu strain, is just fooling themselves.

Then they wonder why people start going crazy in the streets when you let them run rampant.

How can that Chief of Police have the nerve to tell the President to ‘shut up and mind your own business’ when he let a bunch of 20 somethings over run and torch a PUBLIC house leased or at least run by the City as a Police Station?

With the ‘snowflakes’ running wild, it just proves the point of only a couple of agitators can rile up a whole mob of people and points out the old

“Would you rather have an army of a thousand wolves commanded by a sheep or an army of a thousand sheep commanded by a wolf?

We had a ‘situation’ in a town near me where 250 or so people had a ‘protest’ at 1500 Sunday afternoon for one hour...
The only ‘incident’ was one guy showed up with an open carry pistol and started yelling at the speakers. He was in the back and a couple of people ‘peacefully’ confronted him. His race wasn’t ID’d except for ‘them’ saying he had a T Shirt that read ‘Conservative (something)’ and had stated he ‘loved Black people’ so one may take a stab in the dark and figure out what his race was.
The report said half Black/half White protestors...
One of my questions was that it seemed pretty clear that had he drawn his weapon or made gestures, the other 249 would more than likely overwhelmed him. (WHICH THEY SHOULD or at least POINT HIM OUT if Schiff hits the fan)
My question ‘How many would have pounced on him had he said “RIGHT ON BROTHERS and POPPED a few rounds in the ‘other direction’ or tossed a Molotov cocktail?’ Rhetoric yes and seemingly the original ‘protests’ may be loud but generally peaceful but all it takes is one or two SchiffBirds and pretty soon the peaceful are in between the agitators and the police and the police can’t readily act. The protestors want to say ‘it wasn’t us’ but - for the most part are unwilling to try and stop or even point out the troublemakers AND instead of leaving the area when the Schiff hits the fan, they mingle making it impossible for the police to single out the ‘bad guys’.

I agree with most of what you said...but the cops handed them the “perfect $#!+-storm” on a platter with their actions.

It’s true that the DA in Minneapolis at that time was Amy Klobuchar. However, she was elected to the Senate by the time Chauvin’s case came to the prosecution, per Mike Freeman, her replacement and current DA who sent it to the grand jury. That same grand jury declined to bring charges.

I watching several videos of the arrest and saw an agitated GF who clearly was resisting arrest. It took 2 cops to get him out of his vehicle whereas his two passengers calmly got out on their own. That’s probably why they’re still alive today.

I remember the Philandro Castile case because I followed it rather closely. From the photos I saw, he appeared to be reaching for the gun, the outline of which could clearly be seen in his pants pocket, so I don’t blame the cop if he mistakenly discharged his weapon prematurely. They have to make split second decisions and sometimes they screw up. Philandro was also extremely high and was driving a car with a broken tail light with a 4 year old child in the vehicle, so again not a choir boy, and he was endangering the life of a minor child by driving under the influence with a suspended license! Not a reason to kill him, of course, but just another illustration of the poor choices Philandro made for much of his life.

I don’t think so either. But the reaction to Floyd’s death is definitely related to race!

How was Philandro “squeaky clean?” He was stopped by the police 52 times in 14 years. He drove with a suspended and/or revoked license for 6 years, and he was cited multiple times for not having insurance. He was also arrested for possession of marijuana and was supposedly high at the time he got shot! Yet he apparently got a concealed carry license that’s hard to get in a Democrat state where you have to be “squeaky clean.” 🤣

My ‘first line’ to you was

100% true...BUT....<: <: <:

It was perfect but they must not have been ‘ready’ when that woman was killed by the no knock raid or the other woman shot in her house by a cop that was in her backyard checking on a ‘prowler’.

Probably could have gotten a whole lot more ‘sympathy’ from that from ALL sides.

Like all the ‘opportunities’ and ‘they’ chose Trayvon, Brown and the Dope Dealer in Baltimore but they were ‘local’ for the most part.

Even the guy selling cigarettes without a license in NY would have been better than the above 3....

Something WE ALL can ‘relate’ to...trying to ‘get around’ the tax man....

Hey, troll-boi, good to hear from you.

The same way the guy who shot the Congresswoman down in Arizona (which was really cover for shooting a Federal judge killed at the same time) got one despite numerous psych 'red flags'.

It helps to be a member of a politically-connected Dem family. Or a Deep State plant.

These mayors and chiefs of police must know where the flashpoints are in their cities. Or potential flashpoints.

Why don’t they hire tons of black cops and arrange their deployments to patrol these neighborhoods. Take the X factor out of the equation. Isn’t this a common sense approach?

Why is it seemingly so hard to do? You’d think it would have been done anywhere by now. It’s been 30 something years since Rodney King. We’ve learned nothing. We’ve changed nothing.

The trial won’t be about WHAT killed Floyd.

Floyd died in their custody. Period. That will be all the facts necessary to convict them of negligence regardless if there was also abuse involved. Once negligence is proven, it is then a matter of what, if any, crime that constitutes.
