Wow, that is a shame! It has been a long while since I spent any time in Winter Haven -- it had its bad areas back then, but for the most part it was a pretty nice place to grow up.
I lived in Garden Grove and used to work at Cypress Gardens, and all the areas around there were pretty nice. Some friends lived off of Lake Elbert, also pretty nice, in that "mature" Florida neighborhood type of way. Finally, another friend lived off of Lake Howard, the side closer to Beymer UMC, and I always thought that part was quite lovely.
But again, while I have visited my friends there, I have not spent any appreciable amount of time there. It is very sad to hear of those problems.

Same here in York County. There’ll be a lot of deceased rioters and looters if the venture in here, especially my neighborhood.

I’m the jeweler next to that bar and I’ve been here close to 30 years. That’s why my relies are delayed. I’ve been camped in my store for days. We had a credible threat to this area tonight, so several of the store owners are hanging out tonight. So far, all is calm, but I think there have been some sketchy cars scouting us out. Some of us are armed and armored. The scouts leave, probably looking for a soft target. Freegards
