The “police reform” that’s needed is real simple.
Cities need to revisit their screening process and stop hiring idiots and psychos to be police officers.
Minneapolis in particular has had a string of incidents. The Somali guy who winged that Australian woman for absolutely no reason. Some that were driving around shooting paintballs at residents on their porches. And this guy who apparently didn’t realize that kneeling on someone’s neck for eight minutes could kill them.
With the amount of power that comes with that job the cost of making a bad hire is YUGE.
