Police in New Orleans, Louisiana, thanked protesters Saturday for demonstrating peacefully following the death of George Floyd.
In a tweet, the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) said it appreciated how the group that gathered at Duncan Plaza conducted themselves during the event:
The New Orleans Police Department appreciates the way demonstrators conducted themselves today while exercising their right to free speech. We are proud of our great city and our community’s commitment to advocate for social justice.
However, video footage shared by Fox 8 reporter Josh Roberson appeared to show protesters chanting “death to the racist pig”

There was a peaceful protest in Grand Junction, CO yesterday. There was one media photo, shot from up close in an attempt to make about 12 people look like a crowd.
It was amusing.
Isn’t it odd, we have to thank people for not acting like a criminal.
Meanwhile, the loon mayor of NOLA still is telling businesses what they can and cant do.
