Robert Johnson, founder of Black Entertainment Television, told CNBC on Monday the U.S. government should provide $14 trillion of reparations for slavery to help reduce racial inequality. The wealth divide and police brutality against blacks are at the heart of protests that have erupted across the nation following last week’s killing of George Floyd during an arrest in Minneapolis.
“Now is the time to go big” to keep America from dividing into two separate and unequal societies, Johnson said on “Squawk Box.”

Then as a white guy I demand $100 trillion in reparations to be paid by blacks for the crimes committed by blacks against whites.

How about the many religious groups who fled persecution to come to the Americas?
There will never be enough money. They want infinity and then they want whoever is left as a taxpayer to become their slaves.

Anyone calling for reparations is publicly acknowledging that blacks will never assimilate into a Western society; we’ve been paying de facto reparations for half a century, and most of them are still passed on the socio-economic ladder very quickly by imported foreigners who don’t even speak English.
I appreciate the candor of people endorsing this; it is panhandling in perpetuity.

Or all the malcontents could be shipped to Hong Kong and replaced by the HK Chinese. In 10 years they could turn Oakland and Detroit into major economic centres with no government assistance and low crime.
$14 Trillion to blow on hookers, booze, gold teeth and crack so they can come back and demand another $20 Trillion in 10 years?
We’ve had Affirmative Action for three decades, we’ve had preferences in schooling and work and we’ve had lowered standards and what has all that accomplished? Next to nothing. And why is that? Is it because most Blacks are incapable of actually constructively participating and contributing in a society that actually works? Or is it that their culture doesn’t allow them to be part of the “white man’s world.” Or is it because the black family no longer exists and the young are brought up on the streets by gangs? Or is it because their black Democrat leaders hold their power by keeping them on the plantation? Or, is it that they see themselves as victims who though they have chances fail to take those chances because they have been taught that they are owed? Who knows, but apparently Robert Johnson is in the camp of them being victims and are owed everything. Racism in this country is more on the side of the Black community than it is on the side of the white — though it exists in both.
The US does not negotiate with terrorists.
If you Southern boys would have paid a higher wage and picked your own damn cotton we would not be going through all of this crap right now.
