Don't be so sure. It seems like only the leftists have a get out of jail card. When a conservative fights back against an Antifa member the conservative gets prosecuted, and faces a long jail sentence. Not so for the Antifa members.

The riots now are about leftists who want a revolution, and looters who want new stuff, and kids who want to riot for the experience of it.
The original issue is that of excessive police violence, and as you noted dirty cops killing a citizen. I think there may be more to Mr. Floyd's killing than is known yet since he and the police officer who had his foot on him both worked at the same nightclub and it is very likely they knew each other.

I watched live feed of protesters in my hometown tonight. They were in the downtown with a police line driving them down successive blocks with buildings blocking them in on two sides. Had the cops wanted to arrest them all that had to be done was send a team around the block and cut them off trapping them between the buildings.
Three times the cops could have trapped them but just kept pushing them.
