Meaning they should have shot him?
Have you ever been in that position to restrain someone that big, even with cuffs on? I have, and it sure as hell isn't easy, and can't be done in the confines of a back seat in a vehicle if the individual is resisting. Unless you've been there, done that, it's easy to speculate on how things will go, but that's all you can do is speculate and assume. And we don't need anymore of that, because that's what the media does all the time.
In my old county a few years ago a kid was claimed to have escaped custody AFTER having his hands cuffed behind his back.
Then eluded the cops long enough to unlock and open a sliding glass door, grab a rifle, and shoot a deputies finger off.
Before being being killed by one of the deputies of course.
Doubt you ever heard so much as a whisper about it, since he was white.
Remember, he supposedly did ALL of this AFTER being cuffed.
