Shocking new surveillance video appears to show George Floyd in a violent struggle with Minneapolis police before his death.
Floyd can't be seen in the footage, but one cop can be seen leaning through the back door and visibly struggling with him.
The clip was posted by activist Shaun King, who wrote: 'BREAKING: Just got this new video. Its all coming together. Police were in the car beating the sh** out of George Floyd. One stands watch, while the others attacked him.'
Later, white officer Derek Chauvin was captured on video by a bystander kneeling on Floyd's neck as he begged for air.
Floyd, 46, fell unconscious and died, and Chauvin, 44, has since been charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, which are filed in cases of unintentional death.
Chauvin also was accused of ignoring another officer who expressed concerns about Floyd, a black man, as he lay handcuffed on the ground.

They will be asked for permission to be arrested.
One of the officers was asked why they didn’t put him in the car, he responded “We spent 10 minutes trying to get him in the car”.
“We only need to revisit the Waco biker threads to know that your credibility is in the toilet. Nothing you asserted and assured us about that was right. NOTHING.”
Weren’t you. big against cops on that thread?
Now you are defending cops?
The reason I see for the difference is obvious to me but I won’t post it.
I do not know, but I would assume his other two passengers would.
The video I saw of first contact did not include them rolling up behind him. I have no way to gauge how long he was stationary in his car before that.
Thanks to both of you for the links re the restraint methods.
I know of no restraint that is approved after a pulse is checked and none is found. If there is one approved after that we are all in a heap of trouble.
“He was dead.”
One here said he was faking.
I'm just telling what I know, and admitting what I don't know, and I don't know how much pressure was maintained on the neck or for how long.
Just waiting on facts ....
No, just one of many things you were dead wrong about. I support good cops, but go where the evidence leads. And as we saw, not one biker was convicted despite your endless assertions that every one of them would be.
Now you are defending cops?
I am not defending these cops. I am.... wait for it...
...wait for it.....
Waiting for all the evidence, just like those threads.
The reason I see for the difference is obvious to me but I wont post it.
Why not? You can add to your perfect track record of being consistently WRONG.
” and I don’t know how much pressure was maintained on the neck or for how long.”
Certainly enough to compress the carotid arteries!
Look at the guy struggling to no avail. Look how the cops foot comes off the ground.
Mark, here is a link to the video of the suspect on the ground telling
officers he cant breathe. It happens about 20 seconds after video starts.
As far as him saying he could not breathe while he is standing up,
I have no knowledge of that.

If we think the rioting is awful now, when the full coroner’s report comes back to reveal that the neck restraint did NOT cause Floyd’s death, the full out black revolt will be an act of war. There is no way that the American Black community will find such a revelation trustworthy - they will scream conspiracy, white bigotry, and death to the oppressive white devil slave-masters.
No, you misunderstood. I am on your side. I am not going to tolerate people attacking me for my opinion. The guy I posted called me a homo. Crossed the line. Just advocating FOR you. Same stuff happened to me. Time to put an end to all of the nonsense in the country. It really is time.
Interesting and thank you for the clarification.
Somebody on another thread asked when we would be seeing the toxicology reports on the officers at the scene.
Something I never thought of but seems would be useful. Goose meet gander haha.
100%
Im sorry I misunderstood what your post to me was about.
It is a shame topics here can dissolve into terrible name calling.
My apologies.
Just keeping you honest my FRiend. #;^)

Golly oh gee......I cant wait for toxicology to show the cop didnt place his knee on the mans neck and KEEP IT THERE EVEN AFTER THE SUSPECT LOST CONSCIOUSNESS! (credit David Chase)
