LAPD did a pretty good job Friday night locking up about 500 - but sadly national momentum and mealy-mouthed words from the Mayor until too late worked against them.

Mayor Eric Garcetti said Saturday he asked Gov. Gavin Newsom for 500 to 700 members of the Guard to assist the 10,000 Los Angeles Police Department officers. Yeah. Garcetti wants all 10000 LAPD officers to arrest tax payers who break lockdowns or don't wear face masks or social distance.
