If you have any hope that the dismal response to this, which has left large chunks of thee city in ashes, will result in democrats having a change of heart and electing someone who isn't a leftist next time then I'll share a quick story.

Wilson Goode was a Democrat mayor of Philly - the first black man to hold the job - in the mid '80s and he so bungled a confrontation with left wing black radical activists that his own police force burned down an entire city block and all the activists (including their children) burned to death. This incompetent fool was re-elected two years later and he's still on the city council to this day. Philly hasn't has a republican mayor since the 1952.

Once the democrats have eliminated the publics ability to use logic and reason and get them to react solely on emotion, they can do anything and still win just by demonizing the other guy.
