President Donald Trump said Thursday he would hold a news conference on China on Friday, but he offered no details as to what he would say. Even without any details, Trumps announcement Thursday at the White House was enough to send markets tumbling. For weeks, the Trump administration has been ratcheting up pressure on Beijing over its alleged cover-up of early coronavirus cases. Trump has publicly blamed China for the virus itself and for its outsized severity in the United States.
Are yinz from da burgh?
LoL....
Yes I am sitting in Da Burgh as we speak.
Grew up here.
Though I do not actually say Yinz as when I came along Pittsburgh was in one of it’s regular twenty-year downcycles where there were no jobs here. So I was born in Ohio and my parents later moved back.
Thus they gave me the greatest gift any two parents can give their child: NOT moving back to Pittsburgh until after he had learned to speak.
Though particular drawly Southern things do come out of my mouth on occasion. My mom said that in Ohio we were the only non-Kentuckians living on the block.
I do not “watch the news”. I stopped that years ago. No local news at my house. I can get OAN but I want unbiased & unfiltered news so that I can make up my own mind.
5 or 6:00 news you can be sure they will be.

Thanks for your insightful replies to my post.
I have to admit I was slightly taken aback with Tucker’s report — until I read that Trump’s offer was only for as much as the Chicoms were paying. That would mean something like 90 percent saving.
Of course, cutting off the filthy WHO commies without a penny is a lot better.
Trump is a man of his word — something no leftist could understand, wedded as they are to situational ethics, which in practice means no ethics at all.
Please tell me that they cut the access of ALL Chinese students to the university networks and all internet access until they have been thoroughly been investigated.
I love it there and miss the beautiful scenery. If I had my way, I’d move to New Wilmington or maybe even Lancaster County.
Here I was hoping he would stop China’s favored nation status.
Thanks. Please spread the usage of the term “Zampolits” for HR far and wide.
HAHA! I LOVED it when POTUS just walked away from the Fake News crowd!
You shout say attack it and inform the viewers how bad the policy is.
Should say
There's ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with that.
It is even more proper English from the Elizabethan period than what passes for English in London today.
You don't have to say Yinz. A "Y'all" is preferred. An "All Y'all" for everyone in the room.
Zampolits? Did Rosa Klebb give the training?
More than two decades ago on a rainy night in 1997, British soldiers lowered the Union flag and Chinese soldiers raised the Chinese flag in Hong Kong. The people of Hong Kong felt simultaneously proud of their Chinese heritage and their unique Hong Kong identity. The people of Hong Kong hoped that in the years and decades to come, China would increasingly come to resemble its most radiant and dynamic city. The rest of the world was electrified by a sense of optimism that Hong Kong was a glimpse into Chinas future, not that Hong Kong would grow into a reflection of Chinas past.
