That is the problem here, the damage is already done, they couldn’t wait for the investigation, the indictment, the trial, etc. They wanted “justice” now.

Take a little time to think, and I’m sure you’ll reach a less deplorable position than “free a guilty man to punish the angry mob.”
The police like to say “If you don’t resist, we won’t have to kill you.”
If the police don’t go around murdering civilians, and then give themselves every scrap of doubt and due process that the Constitution says ALL citizens should get, there wouldn’t be so many riots.
