An article at the Daily Signal implodes the lies women have been told for decades in the media — specifically, in women's magazines. Sue Ellen Browder, a former longtime Cosmopolitan writer, 'admits' she spent 20 years pulling the wool over women's eyes by telling them marriage and babies hold women back and that sexual liberation is the true path to fulfillment.
For decades now, they've been teaching young women in article after article, image after image, fake story after fake story all the wrong things about men, women, sex, love, marriage — and even America. The propaganda they spread is 100% responsible for destroying the happiness and well-being of the modern generation.
Dozens of women’s magazines comprise a significant part of the liberal establishment, telling women their lives are too tough for them to handle and they should feel very sorry for themselves. This distorted vision of your life is absolutely crazy."
Not only does her generation have much to answer for in indoctrinating young women — "What I would like to come out is for young women to know how my generation got it wrong, why we got it wrong, and how your generation can do better" — their daughters and granddaughters are now living with the fallout of having been told that marriage plus babies equal bondage and that meaningless sex is empowering.
The modern woman puts all her energy into the professional sphere because, she says, there are no good men to marry — all the while having no clue that her generation's attitude and behavior toward sex and love is the reason they are in this quandary. It is a direct result of that which Browder explains: Her generation screwed up.

Exactly......most abortions are married women seeking such last I read statistics. Although now abortion is used as just another birth control method by young women today.
The worst thing they’ve done is tell women to spend their youth on “me time” and building up their careers. Her 30s is way too late for a woman to get serious about finding a husband. Most men won’t want her by then. Men generally don’t care about a woman’s career when looking for mates.

Feminism was taken over in the 60’s by radical lesbians. It may have been started by straight females like Freidan and Steinam, but once the lesbians called the shots, it’s little wonder the hostility to normal family life set in.

Unfortunately, No Fault Divorce left many women who had married young, had children, and been faithful in almost the same situation. Left for a younger woman, and trying to get by on what little child support they could get. Men looking to trade up contributed plenty to this mess. Indeed, some of the excesses of feminism were a direct result of this development.

More BS we have all been fed. Those womyn were the public face of the movement but most meetings were run by men. Womyn did most of the cooking, coffee making, and cleaning at those meetings. A part of history they don’t want us to know.
Sure, it helps. It’s nice. But most men are going to pick youth and looks over her having a high powered career and I don’t think it’s even close.
It’s true that Hugh Hefner set the stage in the 50’s with Playboy and it’s “lifestyle”.
There were some men involved, but by the time the lesbians took over, many were kicked out of the movement on the grounds that they shouldn’t be in charge of a Women’s Rights movement.
Men will ALWAYS pick youth and looks, yes, but I wasn’t talking about a high powered career-just another income. Distrust and economic pressure create a vicious feedback loop. As divorce becomes easier, women feel a greater need to have a good job and education in order to maintain their standard of living if they divorce. Most divorces are filed over infidelity issues.
