pressure on the carotid?
I would guess that 20% of all cops....”
I would bet this Chauvin guy has a history of police brutality.....”
I would wager a guess you’re an idiot,.
I think based on info so far, this warrants a criminal investigation. Even of the guy resisted, once down, hard to justify knee on the neck of a cuffed suspect.
Completely disturbing. There a few times you can actually see the officer rock his weight forward, putting more pressure on the individual. Nothing accidental about this event, the copy just didn't care, and neither did the Asian officer seem to have any regard for what was going on. I guess, he can always use the argument about being concerned for officer safety. Why police are more deserving of 'safety' is an answer I have yet to hear.
I would suggest positional asphyxia.
He (the officer) should have been tested immediately for drugs.
Well, given what he did, and the look on his face while he was doing it, I’d say he’s not normal.
I’d say more like 50% of police are bullies and 100% are sadists.
Three offices stood by and watched ‘their brother’ kill a man and they did not even flinch.
Police trashed any moral authority they ever had when they traded ‘peace officer’ for ‘law enforcement’.
Anyone with a lick of common sense keeps as far away from them as humanly possible.
MPD officers are not professionals, they are thugs.
so far on this incident I agree.
50% You’re grossly exaggerating and generalizing.
I worked law enforcement 28 years and consulted 8 more, nowhere near that number. you might be surprised at the level of training, dedication, and professionalism. Not everyone is a racist cowboy.
well we have it confined to the neck anyway.
Struck a nerve? You must be one of the 20%. Which is it, asperger or autism?
“nd the oddest thing was he had his hands in his pockets.”
His hand was not in the pocket. It was resting on his thigh.
“His mother that he was calling out to had passed away 2 years ago. He knew he was dying.”
??
Please explain.
“pressure on the carotid?”

I guess so, not sure, but it looks like it could be.
So effing angry....that pos cop should be made to walk the gauntlet then set on fire.
Bad cops aren’t autistic. Any cop has to be able to read people and have situational awareness. Autistic people can’t read others and tend to focus on details instead of the whole.
The absence of those qualities is easy enough to detect, and easy enough to disqualify someone in training. No cop wants a partner whose deficiencies put them at risk.
What you do get are bullies, sociopaths and the power-hungry. People who don’t care about others, who lack empathy, but can still read others. The Us vs. Them mentality, the chosen vs. civilian, can corrupt decent men and women over time.
Then you did it right!
Yes, it was hyperbole, but I will hold police to a higher standard every time.
With my own eyes I have seen more than once cops failing to meet even a standard of fairness, much less excellence.
