North Dakota farmers are enormously proud of their big, beautiful herds of black angus cattle (its calving season, so lots of little angus in the pastures with their moms.)The meat department in our tiny town is very well stocked.
Should be much easier to delay cattle going to market. Iowa is in the process of disposing of 600,000 hogs because plants are at only 75% capacity. Theres even a state program to assist.
