How a man who drank himself to death shamed a state health department into more transparent record keeping — and what it could mean for nationwide coronavirus mortality statistics.
You may have seen the memes, such as “Man killed by shark dies of COVID-19.” Or the one with a guy hanging out of his windshield after a terrible accident and a reporter shoving a mike into his face asking, “Sir, can you tell us how you got COVID-19?”
Yet the darkly satirical memes are closer to reality than you might think. Indeed, one such event has shamed a state health department into more transparent public record-keeping — as well as helping to show how much coronavirus deaths have been exaggerated.
A male corpse was found in a Colorado park with a 0.55% alcohol level. That’s well above the lethal limit. The coroner declared cause of death as alcohol poisoning. But just as in those sardonic memes, the state’s Department of Public Health and Environment (DPHE) insisted on categorizing it as a COVID-19 death.
Previously, attending physicians at a nursing home had ruled three deaths as not related to the virus. But, again, the state insisted on classifying them as such anyway. Reasoning? All four of the deceased had tested positive for the virus.
The park death, however, was the last straw for GOP Representative Mark Baisly, who blew his top, and for the doctor who issued the death certificate for the poisoning case and went public.
“I can see no reason for this,” declared Coroner George Deavers, while Baisly threatened to demand criminal charges against Jill Ryan, the executive director of DPHE.

Wow that proves it! There have not been 99,921 Covid19 deaths in the US! The TRUE number is 99,917, because of the information we learn from this article! That’s huge!
And again we learn that Medicare pays more if a patient has Covid - although the hospital workers can catch Covid from the patient and die, but if someone has a shark bite, the doctors are relatively safe from other shark bites. So maybe a little extra is justified.
So here is the answer to all of those people that claim this doesn’t happen because doctors and coroners would be held liable for falsifying a death certificate:
“Department of Public Health and Environment” or “DHHS” is changing them, not necessarily the coroners or doctors misstating cause of death on the cert.
In fact, there have not been “tested and proven” 99,917 deaths because of Covid.
You can’t make a case without evidence and here it is less than circumstantial.
They die because of gunshot in Washington State and their deaths are attributed to Covid?
There are example after example of this and it is amoral and immoral to continue down this path of destruction over this fiction which notably, has suppressed the news we hear about the flu and deaths each year.
Heck, we don’t know how many people died because of the deadly winter cold temperatures, which we hear about every year.

ok so CDC now announces that the fatality rate of Covid-19 is 0.03 , much much lower than previously stated-I beleive the flu is 0.001 so 3x the flu but not like fear mongers have been pushing
The exact figure is under-counted, experts warn, because not all states are publicly reporting data yet. In some states, more than half of coronavirus deaths have come our of nursing homes.
NY times estimates 1/3 Virus deaths are from Nursing homes based on data of the states keeping track. Half of EU covid-19 are nursing home deaths. Canada, 81 percent deaths are nursing homes.
Therefore, Covid-19 deaths of non nursing home people is about half the total, or 50,000. Then subtract all the phony diagnosis of people who died with the virus as opposed to from the virus.. what are we talking about 30,000 deaths or less ,healthy people who actually died covid 19?
Consider San Diego country claims only 3 percent of deaths were those without pre existing conditions .. so then what's the actual death risk for healthy person in the USA today to be exposed and die from the boogie virus gas without a mask, 3,000 to 30,000 out of 300 million population, about 1 in 100,000 to ?
Consider, how many people die in car accidents every year, it is about this same number but we are not afraid to drive. Or flu deaths, roughly same, we never afraid to go without masks.
If we have fear of death perhaps the solution isn’t mandatory PPE to calm our fears, maybe like in the past during crisis we can look for answers in the bible;

The more people die from the corona virus, the more the Left can't blame Trump for doing a poor job responding to the pandemic. Fits their agenda and narrative better.
I know it breaks your heart these but as many people has died and that the numbers are overstated by as much as 25-33%
It must be depressing to rejoice so boldly with a pandemic and it’s quite macabre at your salivating over the deaths. But realistically the number is 70,000 or so. A bad flu season
And the current fatality rate is plummeting now at 0.26% per CDC

I think you missed a decimal place there...
0.001 * 3 = 0.003.
The current fatality rate is supposedly around 0.3% (0.003), while the flu is ~0.1% (0.001). Your point is valid, just wanted to clarify the numbers. For my part, I would bet that the actual fatality rate from COVID is even less than 0.1%.
