MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) The FBI has been called to investigate after a man died Monday night in south Minneapolis after an encounter with police.
In a statement early Tuesday, police described what happened as a medical incident. However, a video posted on social media shows an officer kneeing a mans neck to the ground for several minutes. Before he goes unconscious, the man, who is black, repeatedly tells officers he cant breathe.
At a press conference Tuesday morning, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey alluded to the graphic footage, saying: I believe what I saw, and what I saw was wrong at every level.

They killed this man. Plain and simple. They should fry for it, but they won’t. Just wait, this is going to turn into riot.
The nan man resisted, apprpriate take down, however, too much time with the knee on the neck. Color has nothing to do with right and wrong.
So somebody is choking you to death and you’re just gonna take it? “Oh I know, if I hold very very still maybe he’ll let me live.” Cops need to understand that some of their forms of restraint cause legitimate fear and not do those.
I was being sarcastic. Any muscle tension as your arms are being yanked behind you, as a compliance hold causes pain, as a taser causes spasms, as you try to breathe with 200 lbs on your airway, is resistance.
Sarcasm. I thought it was obvious.
If only he'd listened to Chris Rock.
They will do a lot more than that if those who sign their paychecks tell them to.
"I was just following orders"

It’s at least manslaughter. Police have a very difficult job, but there is no excuse for suffocating someone to death with your knee on their neck.
Every time we found a scene with cops attempting to do CPR, there was some type of weirdness going on. They typically will not even touch people who need that type of assistance. One time we showed up at a scene with half a dozen cops doing mouth to mouth on a morbidly obese handcuffed prisoner. We knew immediately something was amiss.
They had handcuffed him and left him face down and were happy that this quieted him down until they realize that they had killed him. The first thing I did was make them take the cuffs off. They were preventing any form of effective CPR.
Then we were told that our obvious victim of suffocation had a heart attack while fighting with them. But it was easy to see that he had been dead for a good twenty minutes or more.
If he’s talking, he’s breathing.
That being said, looks like the cop was kneeling correctly on the carotid area of the guy’s neck. If it’s determined the cop caused the guy’s death, cop should go to jail for murder, the other officers as accomplices.
Minneapolis cops have long been known as “thumpers.”
The city has paid out millions of $ in settlements over the years.
Same as with Philando Castile.
Minnesota is an integral part of the Democrat takeover strategy under the guidance of the militant Muslim, Keith Ellison, and the simple-minded, gym teacher that we call our governor.
Walz was chosen because he has no balz.
...correctly should be directly...
Watched video. Knee was on side of neck. Not sure how his breathing was impacted. The police were very restrained.
IOW, Vicious Attack of another innocent black man.
Haha. The original comment is even more confusing now.
You can see his chest moving from all the breaths he was taking. Just calm down, get in the car, you can argue later in court.
I guess if I was being particularly vicious, I'd have to find for assisted suicide if I was on the jury. Oh wait, that makes me a jackboot licker.
Its a setup? Was the dead guy in on it? The cops who will now likely go to prison for murder ?
