S. Lee Merritt, an attorney for the family of Ahmaud Arbery, told CNN on Monday that the US Department of Justice is investigating the shooting death as a hate crime.

If Aubrey had stopped and put up his hands when he saw a gun pointed at him, he would be alive now.
We can argue this all day, but those are the facts.
That isn’t a fact, that is a speculation
Know the difference between facts, opinion/speculation
Would you surrender yourself to three madman crazy people with guns and pick up trucks? Would you?
Heh, “yat”. I guess every region has it’s own lingo. Where I grew up even they provide a helpful guide for newcomers -

Can you not read? When someone points a gun at you, the prudent thing to do is stop and put up your hands to defuse the situation.
Now, I’m tired of arguing. You aren’t going to change my mind, but please post one more time so you can have the last word.
So you allow a man with a gun the ability to do anything he wants to you?
Interesting
Ah. You couldn’t resist. Honey says I’m doing your job for you. Your guy committed suicide.
A person holding a loaded gun will almost always do whatever they want, unless they are thwarted.
For reference note downtown Chicago streets at midnight.
In this case the man was holding the perp until LE could arrive and had No intention of killing him.
This was Self Defense.
Who is dumb enough to run up to a man holding a gun and try taking it away? Was the perp on drugs? Something altered his normal thinking process.
(Normal thinking process = don’t try taking away a loaded gun unless you are Military Special Forces.)
He did kill him, so he did have intentions on killing him
He had zero legal authority to hold the man
The victim committed zero felonies
The Georgia DA has charged the men with murder and aggravated assault
You can’t claim self defense in the commission of a crime.
If that was the case, if a person mugs you and you tries to fight him off but the mugger takes out a gun and shoots your dead, the mugger can not claim self defense for your murder.
Nope.
No one set out to kill anyone or they wouldn’t have called the police prior to following the guy.
Have you considered the perp was suicidal?
What better way to off yourself and blame someone else, esp a white guy.
Have you considered the perp was suicidal?
Even if he was, it was still murder, they still murdered the man
“He was being gunned down, 3 people, 2 with guns were chasing him around the neighborhood with trucks trying to arrest him. That is being gunned down.”
That is the stupidest thing I have read here for years.
“this are fantasies and there are facts. I am more interested in the latter”
You wouldn’t know a fact if it crawled up your butt and devoured your prostate.
You haven’t read your own writing then
I don’t know if these two posters are insane or malicious liars. Either way, I don’t think anyone is going to succeed in persuading them to stop posting blatant falsehoods.
Hope that emotionalism works out for ya - good luck!
Ah, the PeeWee Herman defense. Truly, you have a dizzying intellect.
Yup; leftwad troll.
Back to DU with you.
Fricking retards think they can fool people by pretending to be sane and intelligent.
Didn’t mean to make you cry, sorry. Cheers!

CULTURE New Police Video Emerges of Jogger Ahmaud Arbery Apprehended for Allegedly Stealing a Television
May 19, 2020
25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery, who was shot to death after a struggle in February, has been painted by the fake news media as an innocent jogger who was hunted by racist white supremacists.
However, details are emerging that indicate
Arbery had a long criminal history as video of his run-ins with law enforcement come to light.
Arbery can be seen in this video with three other individuals as they are apprehended by law enforcement for allegedly stealing a television from a Walmart: (Pic above taken from video, seen at link)
Another video shows Arbery acting erratic and belligerent during an encounter police at a known Drug spot inside a Georgia park.
So what?
It has nothing to do with the current murder charges
You can’t murder someone because you believe they did something bad in their past.
I see - so the criminals hunted him down and executed him in the street for that years later. Yeah, makes sense. ::eyeroll::
