Well, he set up the equipment and did the filming himself. He uploaded it to the internet. I’d say he has enough intelligence to stand trial with no hope of a “diminished capacity” defense.
I’m getting contradictory stories.
I’ll pull back on my conclusions until I know more.
Whatever the facts, he obviously shouldn’t have been there.
Sharing a room??? Wasn't this monster in the nursing home because he has Covid-19???

I also read a particularly sad story (yes one of many) of a very healthy otherwise 84 year old woman who had been sent to a home for physical therapy that died after that home took an influx of Covid patients unprepared to deal with it.
My parents are celebrating their 73 wedding anniversary today. Thankfully sound of mind and living in their own home. My mother still cooks and bakes constantly. Even finding new recipes. She’s 92 and my father is 94 (WWII vet). I can’t imagine them even at this age being in a place like that.
Interestingly, that last abuse video I saw was posted by a young black man on Twitter with an incredible story. He’s part of an effort to wake up blacks to #walkaway from the Democratic Party.
In his tweet he called out yet more black people beating up old white people. He didn’t mince words.
G-d will take care of his soul. All that we can hope is to see that his ass gets deservedly kicked.
I hope he suffers 1000 times worse than the man he hurt.
We can hope to see he never ever does any violence again.
And a few good ass-kickings on top of his few years in the can will go a long way towards deterring that. Perhaps he’ll even get saved as a result, and you can put a notch on your hymn book.
Note, I only say ass-kickings. If someone made him into a quadriplegic, that would assure that he never does violence again, but that would be uncalled for and disproportionate.
If he were locked up in a mental hospital until he’s too feeble to ever do violence to anyone again, which should be the disposition of this case, then it would be possible to dispense with the ass-kickings entirely.
But that’s not happening, so some inmates will inevitably administer some supplemental punishment of their own. That will happen, and under the circumstances, it’s the best hope for this deranged youth in a sick system.
He should never have been put into a nursing home. For an insane situation, created by an insane system, you have only the least unacceptable outcome possible. Jail with ass-kickings. The guards will manage to be absent and see nothing.
