A Wisconsin teacher is accused of having sex with her 16-year-old foster son after her husband is said to have secretly recorded their alleged trysts.
Stephanie Pudlowski, 38, was arrested on May 15 after police say audio and video taken in the home they shared in Oneida County showed she had a sexual relationship with the boy.
She has since been charged with sexual assault of a child placed in substitute care, sexual intercourse with a child age 16 or older and causing mental harm to a child, NewsWatch12 reports.
Pudlowski is said to have met the boy while teaching at James Williams Middle School. Police say no sexual contact occurred on district property.
But after taking in the teenager last year Pudlowski is said to have admitted having sex with him, according to authorities.

Give me a break! Even virtuous 16 year olds fantasize about older women giving them some loves. Even if she was fat and had one leg two inches shorter than the other, at 16 you would have gone after her after about a minute of teasing and coaxing. You have forgotten what it is like to be a young man.
Nut job so to speak.....congrats to the husband for outing this psycho bitch...husband needs to fix himself and move on...
I have to wonder at the husband’s vigor and interest.
State laws about recording can be tricky. He probably should have consulted a lawyer before placing the camera in a private location.

True, which reveals just how intrusive the police state we now live in has become. Is there any thought, word, or deed that still remains OUTSIDE of the realm of American jurisprudence? No? I didn’t think so!
Really - the guy put a camera IN HIS OWN HOME... and you wonder if that’s legal?
Laz would not hit it. Therefore guilty.

Well I certainly haven’t, and she looks just fine to me, especially when she’s smiling. Besides, there’s always the bag in daytime and the light switch at night! He he!
DITO
Surprised some bizaro liberal prosecutor doesn’t spin this case around to instead charge the husband with child poern.
Perhaps at 16 I was a bit more selective than you. ;-)
I had no opportunities for that type of encounter when I was 16, but you were definately more selective than I was at that age. I would ha e taken whatever she was offering at that age. ; ?
Is that what 36 year old women look like these days? Makes me glad I’m 60.
Would you consider yourself unethical for installing nannycams based on your suspicion that your nanny might be abusing your children?
Would it be fair to classify the NEA as the DNC’s official pedophilia wing?
Finally,an honest man. At 16,I would hit on girls that would make a freight train take a dirt road but that’s life in a small town.
I wonder if he’ll get prosecuted for child porn (while she is prosecuted for statutory rape.)
The recording laws are designed to protect privacy rights. Isn't protecting privacy rights one of the few things we conservatives actually want government to do?
Well there is a difference between legal, illegal and admissible. I am sure there are many loopholes with respect to expectation of privacy; i.e. bathroom and bedroom vs putting a camera in your OWN family room. Then you have to consider things like nanny-cams when it comes to protection of children. Then you start talking about recording adults and considering what the state says the age of consent is. It all gets kinda murky. If it had been my house: Camera in the bedroom to confirm my suspicions. Once confirmed, destroy that (or save it for a private divorce settlement later). Then install hidden camera in a community-use parts of the house..i.e. kitchen, den, TV room. Patiently wait and capture a series of still pics, no audio and provide those to the police....but that’s just me.

........................................................
Of course, but on the other hand just how intrusive regarding our privacy rights do we want the government itself to be? If you look at how legislatures at every level of government operate, enactment of new laws is the never-ending process of rendering virtually EVERYTHING litigable! Call me paranoid, but I can’t escape the feeling that, in the words of a once popular song, “every breath you take, every move you make, I’ll be watching you”!
