Why now?
We have not seen a virus this deadly since the 1917-1919 H1N1 influenza virus that killed 50 million people around the world. Also, people who have Covid-19 are contagious before symptoms appear, meaning that even if you avoid obviously sick people, you could still catch it. Furthermore, there is no vaccine for Covid-19, and not likely to be one soon.
We need to get rid of Covid-19 now, before it becomes entrenched in the population. We still have a window to do that.
so where’s Sweden’s EXPONENTIAL CURVE?
nowhere to be found. final word on Sweden might take years, but give thanks they have provided a control group, to some extent.
The WuFlu has a 99.5% survival rate. Not exactly terrifying.
The WuFlu is not on the same planet as the nightmarish Spanish Flu.
Lives have been completely destroyed as a result of the draconian, cruel lockdowns. Untold numbers of small businesses will never return, people are losing their life’s savings, families are being plunged into poverty.
The rates of Domestic and child abuse have risen and the suicide rates have exploded.
This country could very well experience The Great Depression, the Sequel. Personally, I would rather be dead than to experience such misery.
Also, President Trump could very well lose the election because of the destruction of the economy. Most people on FR, including myself, know that the fault lies with Dr. Fauxi, certain Blue State Governors and the MSM, but never underestimate the stupidity and the gullibility of the average American voter.
The media will be working overtime to lay the blame at Trump’s feet.
Forgive my French, but f**k the vaccine. There is no way in Hell that I will ever consent to a vaccine for the Chinese virus and no vaccine is needed for a virus with a 99.5% survival rate.
I’m embarrassed to admit that I just recently learned about the Hong Kong Flu pandemic. I have been reading about it and hearing about the event from those who experienced it.
The country wasn’t shut down for that pandemic. Heck, even Woodstock took place during that time.
I’m over this scamdemic. OVER. IT.
Thankfully, I’m in a Red State that is now open for business. I delight at the wrath of the Facebook Karens as they meltdown over the bustling, crowded Alabama beaches.
This virus is only slightly more deadly than regular flu, nowhere near the Spanish flu.
Everyone with regular flu is contagious also before symptoms appear. Many people with this flu do not ever have any symptoms or very mild ones.
Even WITH a vaccine for regular flu, some 80,000 still died.
You do not get rid of viruses...you build immunity to them in their present form and hope they do not mutate.
Every single prediction about this pandemic has turned out to be flat out wrong. Yet we persist as if the models that caused these decisions to be made are correct and prolong what has now become simply tyranny.
Its just the flu, bra...no need to gut the world over it.
