The WuFlu is not on the same planet as the nightmarish Spanish Flu.
Lives have been completely destroyed as a result of the draconian, cruel lockdowns. Untold numbers of small businesses will never return, people are losing their life’s savings, families are being plunged into poverty.
The rates of Domestic and child abuse have risen and the suicide rates have exploded.
This country could very well experience The Great Depression, the Sequel. Personally, I would rather be dead than to experience such misery.
Also, President Trump could very well lose the election because of the destruction of the economy. Most people on FR, including myself, know that the fault lies with Dr. Fauxi, certain Blue State Governors and the MSM, but never underestimate the stupidity and the gullibility of the average American voter.
The media will be working overtime to lay the blame at Trump’s feet.
Forgive my French, but f**k the vaccine. There is no way in Hell that I will ever consent to a vaccine for the Chinese virus and no vaccine is needed for a virus with a 99.5% survival rate.
I’m embarrassed to admit that I just recently learned about the Hong Kong Flu pandemic. I have been reading about it and hearing about the event from those who experienced it.
The country wasn’t shut down for that pandemic. Heck, even Woodstock took place during that time.
I’m over this scamdemic. OVER. IT.
Thankfully, I’m in a Red State that is now open for business. I delight at the wrath of the Facebook Karens as they meltdown over the bustling, crowded Alabama beaches.
Excuse me, but where do you get that number?
Right now, there have been 5407414 cases and 344,025 deaths worldwide. That comes out to 344,025/5,407,414 x 100, or 6.362% death rate. That isn't even close to a 0.5% death rate that you claim (without providing a shred of evidence).
It is really, really important for people to understand the danger of this virus. If you do not understand it, you don't take it seriously, we're going to be stuck with it. I have no desire to have a virus that causes a 6-7% death rate circulating freely. The economic and societal disruption that will cause will not be easy to recover from.
Oh, and Covid-19 is not a flu. It is a cold. A very deadly cold. A cold that we either eradicate now, or suffer a lot of disruption to our society.
