I agree, it ‘should’. I’m just not convinced that’s happening across all states.
The wait was horrible. Additionally, she contracted it at her job and there were 10 other employees being forced to quarantine pending her results. It was a complete mess.
Avoid CVS test sites like the plague.
Unfortunately most testing in the deep south is like that now.
Hubby is home because a coworker was tested. It’s been 4 days already. Still no results. They think maybe by the end of next week he might hear something.
And with those waits, you can forget HCQ treatment being effective. Even IF you could find a doc to prescribe it.
. It’s very likely we’re seeing the spread in Texas...due to proximity to the Mexican border.
In my town, it is due in part to our County Commissioners refusing to shut down events at our County Events Center like Summer Markets, Gunshows, Quinceneara for 500, plus, GOP Political Events (Allen West appearance), Primary Run Off Parties, and one Commisioner who has a local radio show touting, “hoax”.
This is compounded by the folks who think family get togethers, convenience/appearance and public sports are worth the risk.
The spike in cases in MY state is due to get togethers, weddings, bars/restaurants, etc. We’re far from the border.
And hubby’s coworker’s test just came back positive.
We’re hoping nobody else comes down with it.

Monoclonal antibodies will be VERY expensive as a treatment.
“China found out those who previously had the SARs vaccine suffered the worse with CV. Not good.”
I read that a while back maybe in Feb. A lot of the people in Wuhan got the SARs vaccine, I think most of them die when they got inflected with Covid-19.

Austin, TX getting 3 refrigerated trucks. San Antonio also getting refrigerated trucks.
TEA gives schools permission to go virtual for first 8 weeks.
The Floating Cinema will be in Austin for one week starting on September 23rd. Rent a boat for 8 passengers to watch a movie on the lake.
With no beds from CV, now hospitals are worrying about the up tick in west nile virus patients.

I don’t believe that story was true. It was during the time when people were trying to convince themselves it was only an Asian virus. Some of the same folks claimed Italy was also vaccinated with SARS vaccine despite no SARS in Italy. Every report I have found says there has never been a SARS vaccine outside of a trial. Obviously “it’s China”, so anything is possible, but unless someone has a legitimate source, it’s just more disinformation.

They’re counting cases by the ONSET of symptoms. Furthermore deaths are counted when Covid is a CONTRIBUTING factor.
