And its easy to find, or at least was. I get mine from valleyvet or jeffers

At least they’re getting sun.
Hopefully that will be enough.
Most appear to be young and not hippo category too.
Although there are a few of the latter. (I’m fat, was fatter so yes I can call hippo when i see it)
A Study on Infectivity of Asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 Carriers

we all should take turns, 10 posts on, then rest
“COVID-19 no longer infectious after 11 days, new study claims”
curiouser and curiouser...
Levity from Twitter...
“A new study reports that about a third of people in the United States who are working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic are also drinking on the job. Are you stocked for the upcoming work week? #HowWeParty

And reports seem to say productivity has risen...
There’s a bit of a difference between letting economic Darwinism run rampant and letting actual Darwinism run rampant in the middle of a pandemic.
It gets worse:
Memorial Day tourists could be devastating to Central Coast beach towns, officials say
A charter company in the Central Valley is selling $30 tickets to bus people to Pismo Beach and Morro Bay to enjoy sunny beaches this Memorial Day weekend, despite a statewide stay-at-home order and coast officials actively discouraging tourism right now.
This is what were up against, Morro Bay City Manager Scott Collins told The Tribune.
After a resident brought the charter-bus plans to his attention, Collins reached out to the business and asked them not to come. As of Friday, a charter bus company was actively advertising tickets on Facebook....
...Morro Bay has had a total of six confirmed cases since mid-March, with the most recent case more than five weeks ago, according to county Public Health data. In that same time period, Pismo Beach has had a total of nine cases with the last positive COVID-19 test over a week ago.

Wow. That’s something to think about.
from initial infection seems a little iffy, but if it’s 11 days, that would be about the time ER treatment is sought. If infectivity was on its last leg day 10, in the ER, (and it would be at it’s lowest point then, virility wouldn’t just stop like a lightswitch instant-off), then how are all the HCWs getting infected transporting/post-admission? How does 11-days account for ward-spread?
and how does that interplay with the ‘superspreader’ theory?
hmmmm
stirring the pot, or a sliver of truth? :
“For instance, if it was to turn out that this virus may have come about because of an accidental lab release that would have implications for how we do viral research in laboratories all around the world which could make doing research much harder.
... scientists...do not want their research impacted adversely by tighter laboratory controls....
“So I think the inclination of virus researchers would be to presume that it came from an animal until proven otherwise because that would have less ramifications...”

“The Coronavirus Is Exposing Wall Streets Reckless Gamble on Bad Debt”
Unless there really is a magic money tree nearby, we can’t stay shut down forever. The resulting economic calamity will eventually negatively affect people like you, me and some others on this thread who are actually taking appropriate precautions. It’s bad enough that the virus itself can cause supply disruptions (meat plants, etc.), why should continued shutdowns disrupt them further in some indirect manner?
Why should we unnecessarily suffer because we can’t fix stupid?
We’re boycotting unnecessary expenditures until this is settled down.
No restaurants, no entertainments, nothing extra.
I find it very ‘interesting’ that just as everything is opening up and businesses are having to disinfect surfaces regularly...suddenly appears a study that indicates it can’t be spread via surfaces...even though every OTHER coronavirus CAN be spread via surfaces.
I expect big money to pull further shenanigans like this.
Not knowing if we will have a million dollar hospital bill or a long term chronic illness should we get this (and oddly enough, STILL nobody is talking about that), we find we can’t spend anything over and above basic living expenses for the forseeable future.
You can open it back up, but you can’t make us spend money we may need later on.

Vid of drone delivery of pizza.
(Well, it’s new to me.)
As far as I know, the people talking about transmissibility from surfaces are saying that it is LESS transmissible than they thought, not un-transmissible.
Nope, the headlines were that it wasn’t transmitted via surfaces.
The message was sent.
Now workplaces don’t have to disinfect surfaces. Convenient, no?
