I’m conflicted about this. On the one hand, the Seal on the mask is a very subtle FU to certain people there. On the other hand, he caved in.
How is this caving? There was a specific part of the plant tour that required a filtration mask, so he wore it in that location. We have areas in our facility that requires various gear like eyewear, masks, and hearing protection.
This had nothing to do with COVID-19 restrictions. Manufacturing plants often have areas where various forms of protection are required (gloves, masks, goggles, etc.) to minimize exposure to workplace hazards.
In my line of work there are many project sites I cannot enter without a reflective vest, eye protection, hard hat, and even steel-toed boots.
