PLEASE! You are insulting every hammer in the world, including those cut-rate 99¢ hammers you find at the discount stores, the ones that the heads fly off of when you hit a nail with them. Hammers have useful purposes. Maxine Waters has no discernible useful purpose.

So many Freepers have selective hearing when it comes to AG Bill Barr, who has very selective speech. He never says more than he intends to say. He is very specific and precise in his speech.
Every one of those have been looked at by Mac and iOS programming experts and they ALL required physical possession of the device and the users’ passcode to install. I.E., they essentially could only be installed with the help of the user. They were Trojans, installed by way of planting them on a Mac, then doing a restore of the iOS device from a backup on the users’ Mac, entering the user’s iOS passcode to initiate the full backup, to install the maliciously altered app. It notes that the vulnerabilities would not survive updates from Apple. They didn’t. Keep in mind these all came from Snowden’s downloads circa 2013 and before.
That being said, I have no doubt that the NSA has continued their efforts in these areas. In fact, I would be disappointed if they had discontinued them. That’s their job.
Exactly the hammer goes back to 2011 and was originally designed to track terror types.CIA/Brennan got a hold of it and next thing you know they are using it on US citizens.It got worse from there.

Yikes! Are you saying they had nothing to do with surveillance? ... or that they were the means of tapping an iphone or Mac?
Now that I look at those pages they don't seem to be what I thought they were. I slept 11 hours last night (!!!) and seemed out of focus all day. I think that was the only post I did all day and I thought they dealt with a surveillance effort by the 0bama Admin. Now that I look at them I don't know what they say. They were accessed by a post on a website - American something. That was from my desktop files and I am on my tablet right now. I guess those WikiLeaks links were part of the surveillance access or something. As I say, I was out to sea in the Horse Latitudes, I think. :^) Thanks.
They did use some of this stuff. We know they used it on Angela Markel. But they have to either intercept the iPhone/iPad being shipped to the target or get to it surreptitiously to install the firmware changes (which won’t survive a firmware update) and/or install special hardware and other malicious spy apps to run unnoticed in the background. They can’t be remotely installed, but once they’ve got their stuff on it by physical means, they’ve got some control to do such things.

DC is a town that's rotten to the core.. Every nook and cranny is stuffed full of stinking lawyers. Probably 90% of everyone in that town that we despise to the bone is a stinking lawyer.. Obama and the Wookiee were stinking lawyers. The Clinton's were stinking lawyers.. The word "stinking" and lawyer go together like peas and carrots, cornbread and beans, bacon and eggs..
When I spoke of "stinking lawyer", I wasn't slamming Powell personally, but lawyers in general.. Sidney Powell is probably a one-off copy and there is NO chance she can sweeten the stench coming from the pot they call DC...
