The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested the man who recorded cellphone video of Ahmaud Arbery being shot and killed.
William “Roddie” Bryan, 50, shot the video that showed what appears to be Gregory and Travis McMichael shooting and killing Ahmaud Arbery while he was out jogging in February.
In a news release, the GBI said it charged Bryan with felony murder and criminal contempt to commit false imprisonment.

“Contrary to speculation, the polygraph examination confirms that on Feb. 23, 2020, the day of the shooting, William ‘Roddie’ Bryan did not have any conversation with either Gregory or Travis McMichael prior to the shooting,” Kevin Gough said Monday night, referring to the father and son charged with the murder, Action News Jax reported.
“Nor did William ‘Roddie’ Bryan have any conversation with anyone else that day prior to the shooting about criminal activity in the neighborhood,” he added during a news conference at the Glynn County Courthouse.
Things must have been said before they left the house and turned the camera on.
With three of the accused in jail, someone is going to get chatty.
Hope you don’t get arrested because the DA believes you were a murderer because you didn’t stop a fight.
They’ve all lawyered up, so I think the chatty talk has ended.

He was part of the posse where someone died in the commission of a felony. If the police charge someone in the murder then they charge everyone involved with murder even if they didn't pull the trigger.
Polygraphs are not admissible as evidence. If the police charged him they have other evidence.
