I’m not surprised. You’ll have to wait about ten years for iPadOS 23.5 to com out before you can see it. Grin.

Seriously, the point of the API is likely less important on iPads as is the entire Health thrust which is aimed toward iPhone users and AppleWatch connectivity, where the health sensors are located. People aren’t going to exercise with an iPad strapped to their arm, or try to use one with a add on blood glucose testing meter. Those apps and accessories are all designed for use with the iPhone in mind.

The articles on how to disable this came out before the general public release and I suspect it may have been present in both iOS and iPadOS beta for testing purposes but dropped in the gold master and public release iPadOS 13.5. If you’ll notice the date on this article and some wording indicate it’s pre-release.
