So, basically, the Feds were directly spying on Flynn without either a Fisa warrant or a search warrant (meaning the Obama Admin most likely got the intercepts from a Five-Eyes or allied intel intercept, if not direct NSA/CIA taps). They were targeting him long before any unmaskings were requested.

..... Interesting point ...... As it turns out though .... If there were no FISA Warrants issued for the "Off Record" surveillance ..... According to the FISA Rules and Regs ..... There is only one person that can order "Electronic Surveillance" without a warrant ..... As stated .... "... The President may authorize, through the Attorney General, electronic surveillance without a court order for the period of one year."

The lefties on Twitter are having a good laugh that the “unmasking” part of the story is no longer a factor. What they haven’t yet considered is that this is a smoking gun of an illegal wiretap of the Trump campaign.

That’s my take too. He wasn’t ‘caught up’ in unmasking. He was the starting point, they were spying on him when he made a call to a Russian.
