If you are actually playing by the book, you don’t need to say you are playing by the book.

It’s a consciousness of guilt.

Susan Rice will die trying to protect Obama. So will most of the Left. The effort of the Left and MSM to protect Obama will dwarf their effort to destroy Trump.

People cover their asses all the time and it’s not because of consciousness of guilt. It’s just CYA.

This letter is just more evidence that Obama/Rice were prepared to toss the FBI, Comey, etc under the buss if need be. There needs to be more “chatter” about that and let them start fighting amongst themselves. Sh*t needs to be stirred up.

Your spouse walks in the door and says “I didn’t do anything immoral today...”. They say it three times.

While they say the memo was declassified, and talk about Rice writing the memo to herself - everyone ignores the fact that she actually wrote it to someone else. At least one other direct recipient is named on the “To” line and/or the “Cc” line, both of which are still redacted by being blacked out. Also note that Curtis R. Ried was Cc’ed. Who is Ried? Why was he copied?

The other recipient(s) are critical, as one of them may have asked for the CYA memo in the first place. Likely Yates.

This was just never going to be seen unless she got caught. At which point, it would become her “extemporaneous notes” which would “prove” the did it by the book.

And, unlike Brett Kavanaugh with his calendars from forty years ago that proved his innocence, she would be allowed to use that for her “get out of jail free” card.

No honest ‘professional’ would DO this … much less even think of it!

That SHE did this, is an open admission that she’s neither honest nor professional!

If someone wanted to waste a bunch of time, they could search Obama’s speeches for the phrase “by the book”. I’ll bet he never used it publicly and this is just how the lying liar Susan Rice decided to put it in her CYA memo.

The whole premise of which is ridiculous, not only because it is self-serving but because if she wrote this to be used as evidence, she should have known the only reason it would ever be seen is if they whole story came out and by then we’d know they were listening to Gen. Flynn’s phone calls and already knew what he was saying to Kisliyak. Loss of logical reasoning power is a symptom of extreme stress and fear.

It’s a consciousness of guilt.

Perhaps.

Perhaps it's just fear of punishment.

Yup...11:45AM (Eastern) on 1/20/17 Rice was setting up an alibi for herself and others.

The day before Susan Rice visited all the Sunday shows, telling lie after lie about the Obama Administration, about Bengazi and other matters, Susan’s mother asked her to stop and think.

“Why are YOU going to be the one on TV, explaining all of this, why isn’t Hillary doing it herself, when she was actually there?”
Susan replied: “Because Obama asked me to do it, since Hilary is right now in a state of exhaustion. She’s a bit overwhelmed from all the republican attacks.”

So Susan, forever to be known as a Paid Liar, took another one for The Team. She still doesn’t seem to get that her credibility is shot full of holes.

Other than 1 reporter at CBS, the mainstream media has ignored this entire story.

Hillary Clinton lying about why her employee, US Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens was murdered is another clear example of consciousness of guilt. That may have kept her out of the White House but for some reason, it sure hasn't put her in the The Big House.

Director Corney affirmed that he is proceeding “by the book” as it relates to law enforcement. From a national security perspective, Camey said he does have some concerns that incoming NSA Flynn is speaking frequently with Russian Ambassador Kislyak. Camey said that could be an issue as it relates to sharing sensitive information. President Obama asked if Comey was saying that the NSC should not pass sensitive information related to Russia to Flynn. Comey replied ”potentially.” He added that he has no indication thus far that Flynn has passed classified information to Kislyak, but he noted that “the level of communication is unusual.” The President asked Corney to in.form him if anything changes in the next few weeks that should affect how we share classified information with the incoming team. Corney said he would.

I have some problems with this. Comey's name is misspelled three times in this piece. If this is a copy from the actual letter, than Rice has some serious English issues. If this was a retyping of the information, both the reporter and editor need to be fired.

If this is in anyway real, these errors could be used to argue this is not a real copy of the conversation.

It’s a consciousness of guilt.

So great the irony that while Ms. Rice was conscious of guilt, she has/had no feelings guilt, conscience-wise.

One suspects that she and her fellow persons of hench are angry only that their misdeeds are being caught, not that they did them.

"Shamelessness" doesn't approach the depths.
