Coronavirus patients in northeastern China are reportedly taking longer to recover from the virus and to exhibit symptoms than patients from the original outbreak in Wuhan, one of China’s top doctors told state TV Tuesday. Dr. Qiu Haibo, who is taking care of patients in the northeast, said the more than two-week incubation period is making it hard to keep the virus from spreading and could show the virus is changing, Bloomberg reported.
Patients in the northeast also mostly have lung damage rather than in their heart, kidney and stomach as in Wuhan. At least 46 cases have popped up in three cities located just north of North Korea's border – Jilin City, Shulan and Shengyang – which are under lockdown again. Of those infected, 26 have been hospitalized, according to Bloomberg. Last month, a study from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, found the virus had mutated into at least 30 different genetic versions.
"Drug and vaccine development, while urgent, need to take the impact of these accumulating mutations, especially the founding mutations, into account to avoid potential pitfall," the study said.

Wuhan likely got a deadlier strain straight from the lab that killed off many of its hosts - and the new outbreak is a somewhat milder mutation.

China shut down all of China except the international Air Port in Wuhan.. why? because they wanted the virus to spread
They don’t need 5 million this time. Each virus piggy backs on the one before it.
This is my biggest concern with the asymptomatic people and initial weak/mild response. They were compromised and didn’t or don’t know it.
That’s what’s happening.
Parasites that kill their hosts quickly don’t last long.
The mutation is appearing precisely because it can: not as lethal, doesn’t cause problems for a while.
I also am pretty sure China is trying to wreck our virus response and along with all the hacking and lies I think we should not take all their reports as gospel. I’ll gladly take the (non-Chinese) vaccine and not just assume that it won’t work so why take it. I’m pretty sure they want to avoid at all costs, Americans taking American shots. They want to control what we do and don’t get, dependent on their whim.

Keep the international flights from China shut down.
Keep the Canada and Mexico borders shut down.
Do not let anyone from China in to the U.S.
