We need to proactively reach out to these companies that are allowing this behavior and tell them it is NOT acceptable. I just left a message for the CFO of Costco and I highly recommend you all do the same.
The forcing of masks on us like we're sheep is completely unacceptable and if we don't step to the plate and push back on this they won't stop.
People that shop at Costco are just financing the Comchinks...just the type of people that would submit to a mask.

I haven’t noticed any signs outside a Costco I goto in Baton Rouge prohibiting Concealed Carry.
I’ll look for the signs next time I get there.
I am not sure why you would wear a mask even around patients since all the armchair scientists on this thread insist masks are not only useless but actually dangerous.
Agreed completely. I have, and others, been saying that this is about more than just some flu/virus. This is about bringing in something the world has never seen and eliminating freedom and lives
This afternoon I watched Dr. Chuck Missler teach on the Book of Ephesians. He made a comment concerning one of his military friends, a ranking officer, said to him back in the 1970s. Chuck said that the man said that “one day we will look back on the 1950s and 1960s as our greatest period of personal rights and liberties in America and that from then, on, we will start losing them at an alarming clip.” Man, was that guy right!! We have been losing them faster and faster and faster. Before long, there will no longer be such a thing as personal rights and liberties in America. We will have given them all away, free, without whining or fighting for them as the folks in 1776 did. No, for “peace and safety” we will just throw them away! Fast.
so true. and the number of people that claim the label of CONSERVATIVE, on this site, are all in for tyranny. They totally agree with the premise of living in utter fear over some nebulous threat. It’s stunning to watch.

My issue with the masks is that it is being used to convince everyone that everyone is either at deathly risk of spreading, or catching, COVID, everywhere, all the time. But more than that, the fear of COVID is being used by our government to do things that they should never, ever be allowed to do. Completely arbitrary dictates (weed stores essential, church not essential), moronic (one-way arrows in store aisles, because apparently, COVID can only move in the same direction as the person who has it...), and just plain stupid (you can be in a liquor store with 20 other people in aisles 4’ wide, but parks and hiking trails were closed because that was just too dangerous).
The masks are the most visible, dehumanizing dictate that has been forced on everyone... well, apart from denying them the right/ability to earn a living.
If you can’t see how the government is going to continue to use COVID as justification for ongoing intrusion in and control of our lives, you really haven’t been paying attention. Combine this with the absolute mountain of flawed models, fear-mongering reporting, conflicting and/or inaccurate information, and you have a big huge steaming pile of dubiousness, being pushed by a crowd (politicians and leftists) that have a long history of being wrong, dishonest, disingenuous, and absolutely power mad. Any capitulation to their inane dictates is just asking for them to hit you with even more.
More than anything though, the problem I have with the masks is that unless and until we STOP wearing them, the government can and will continue to hold fear of COVID over our heads. Only when we are “allowed” to lose the masks, to be within 6’ of one another, to gather in crowds, will we be able to say that this is over, and/or that it was mostly b.s. to begin with. How much destruction, how much loss of freedom, are you willing to endure, trusting that what the entirely discredited “experts” are saying? You are all far too willing to give politicians far too much power over you. It’s frightening.
If you wish to live in fear, if you want to wear a mask, gloves, a full-body gimp suit, stay 6’ away from relatives, don’t have or go to parties, go right ahead. But I have a serious problem with being told I can’t do something, or that I have to do something, simply because “experts” and politicians who have been wrong far more often that they’ve been right, tell me I have to.
I went in Costco the other day after they made me wear one and I took it off once I got inside.
I told them to F off when they tried to get me to put it back on!
Then STAY HOME. The rest of us should NOT be forced to wear a mask PERIOD.

I must say when a guy, also wearing a mask, in the aisle in front of me coughed, I was stopped short for just a moment. Masks can be a good thing as far as I'm concerned.
Most masks do nothing to prevent the transfers of the airborne virus. They might prevent globules from one but to prevent airborne virus is a joke.
The mask is simply a symbol. You are made to wear one to remind everyone that the panic must continue.
You realize doctors in hospitals have been using masks longer that anyone alive was born? Your comment is actually sort of dumb.

Right, so you’re wearing it to “protect others” from you then? What a hero.
As I said, the issue isn’t the masks per se, it’s the way masks are being used to keep everyone in irrational fear and panic, to make people suspicious of one another, and that in turn feeds into dictating that I couldn’t go to church on Easter a Sunday, and I can’t go to a family gathering to celebrate a graduation or a birthday.
What is unbecoming is how readily people like you submit on the basis of nothing more than bogus models and predictions of doom.
When and if the SHTF, you are one lieutenant I won’t be looking to for leadership, that’s for sure.
Doctors and nurses in the operating room are wearing masks because they are cutting open their patients and exposing their internal tissues to the elements. They are also being exposed to blood and other bodily fluids. I’m quite sure the patients are being tested for viral illnesses before they even go under the knife.
I’ll look for the signs next time I get there.

As others have pointed out, concealed means concealed, and for the year we were members I did carry into Costco and they were none the wiser.
However, out of principle I will not support a business that doesn't support me, so no renewal.
